Got a call from a recruiter the other day about a job which sounded interesting so told him I'd apply - its an American bank and sometimes these places have their own online application submission process which you have to complete even if you're going through an agency. I just filled it in and there was a great section about links to US governmental agencies and whether you're either a convicted fraudster or terrorist but anyhow I also saw the form the agency had sent my CV in and their version is absolutely brilliant - much better than the "source" and it sells me really well so I've saved a copy which I'm going to use from now on.

Labour weren't innocent about shifting people onto Inavalidity but like most things it was started by the bitch. Do you remember the approximately 20 ways she changed how "unemployment" was counted to keep it at a "meagre" 3.5 million? - how much did that much cost? There's also the point that tax credits (a major cost) were needed because employers simply won't pay proper wages. And of course the real "increase" in the "benefit" total is down to pensions which take the majority of the money - what a shame more people live longer eh? - never mind private healthcare will fix that.

Getting people off the dole is incidental - as I said its more of a "send a message" policy to their real target. I remember in about 86 they started the "job club" thing but they advertised it during the break in the itn 10 o clock news. This was a deliberate aim at the abc demographic to show they were doing all they could so it was still the unemployeds fault. As I keep saying, always have been, are now and always will be cunts.

If the aim was to say to people who've been unemployed for two years "you really need a hand" and mean it I cant see too many objections. However it's actually more demonisation for the benefit of Daily Mail cunts.

I think his approach to the players struck a chord with a lot of fans but it was too idealistic and that's without him going way over the top in its implementation. He should have kept the demands for professionalism public but individual punishments etc private.

She went to a private school called Church High which wasn't far from where I went to school. I was in the last year of kids who went to the ex-grammar schools from Shields and after that well off lasses were sent to Church High. I had my first attack in 89 but took doc's advice to go on allopurinol. No more attacks. When I moved the new gp insisted on blood test which was clear so I dropped it for about 12 years with no attacks until I had a mild one. I toyed with the idea of restarting but in the end didnt bother. Then I had the mother of all attavks last summer so now I've decided to not take any chances and take it for life. I work with two lads who have it. One has taken allopurinol sonce his first attack ten years ago with no repeat and one who manages attacks with nsaids -seeing how the latter suffers convinces me its not worth it.

I can't say this clearly enough - once the attack ends get yourself on Allopurinol.

I can understand post work showers but the idea that another one the next morning is somehow hard work is mental - sounds like a return to the tin bath filled from kettles era. As for trying to claim you're still fresh and clean after a night in bed - what about this summer's sweaty nights? What about sex/wanking?
