I like her on QI - same goes for Ronni Ancona aho's about as far from the grey area as you can get as far as I'm concerned.

You'd be surprised how limited the suicide windows are - it does seem as if they single out peak times.

Working from home today after an abortive atempt to catch non-existent trains fucked by another suicide. I do honestly try and have sympathy but after a "free" weekend why did they wait until Monday ruch hour to go for it?
-
I've never thought Mock the week was "boyish" - as others have said the problem is they keep getting shit female comics on it. PC shit like this also means years more of Miranda.

Might have said before but one of the angriest moments of my life was the morning after Lawson intoduced the 40% rate and the BBC had a nurse whose pay had gone up by about £2 and a Financial Advisor who'd gained 80k the latter of whom had absolutely no problem "justifying" why he deserved it and the nurse didn't. I've never understood why none of the TV crew just stopped and chinned the piece of human excrement to death.

I did find the idea of "proper" actors doing proper porn intriguing but 4.5 hour cuts with body doubles makes it lose its appeal.

Well Renton reckons we can all afford chauffeurs anyway Johnson's obvious dream is driverless trains and it would at least be honest of him to say so. I'd also say if you wanted to get into an argument over salary "worth" then you're on a loser anyway because modern society only sees money generation above all else.

Webb is such a big teams' bitch.

What - not even the soft cunt's bit that wasn't the corner or the scoreboard? - that was quite posh.

Last time I was up The County was still mainly a red & white haunt but the manager was a hard little bastard of a Leeds fan who took no shit from the cunts.

It never really bothered me to be honest - they weren't "real" mackems to me and it meant even as kids we had rivalry which I think was better than a completely isolated relationship which was/is the case for kids in either city. I haven't been back for quite a while but what used to annoy me was if you went down king st how many workers were actual mackems -as if there wasn't enough locals looking for jobs.

My Mam used to work at the youth club who invited those Germans who ran off the cliff during bother at the top of the grotto. The bloke who organised the trip was a broken man because of it.

Think I've said before I gave up my ST at the end of 08/09 - not because of relegation but after stumbling on after the Keegan fiasco, the derby 5 years ago broke something in my mind (and we didn't even lose). Of course travelling 300 miles every time was a large factor as that was becoming such a pain in the arse but I do claim an element of "high-horse" type morality in defining it as anti-Ashley. Maybe if I won the lottery and moved back to the NE the match day experience would appeal again and overall it is just laziness - I recognise what some have said about times being worse in the past and I certainly used to have the attitude that you/we/everyone should go no matter what but I think this time is different and don't blame anyone for "making a stand". Not sure it would affect the cunt even if say 10/20% of ST holders didn't bother but I can see the point of people doing something from their point of view.

I know it's hard to credit him with "planning" but if the cunt sat down last summer and decided to waste two windows while attempting to deflect the flak by appointing a scapecoat it went completely to script. We shouldn't forget who the real problem is.

In 92 they got a couple of thousand more than their average that year whereas Liverpool got 20k less than theirs but because the mackems got less than the scousers they still squealed like pigs.

The difference that Poyet and that bloke at Southampton have made to poor/average teams shows me that no matter what the regime is, a decent coach with a few ideas can have a huge effect. Of course I don't trust the present shower to be able to identify/appoint a decent coach but I think we are in danger of being too negative with the "it might as well be Pardew" line. At this point, apart from Kinnear, I don't think we could actually get someone worse.
-
I think you admire the stats that suggest he isn't that bad rather than the bloke himself to be fair.
-
It's not the first time Tom - all of his good results have been "against the odds" eg Chelsea etc - with one or two rare exceptions we've always failed to beat any team that we really should when it was most needed.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
NJS replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
And worse than that his post match comments suggest that losing one player has "forced" him to abandon any pretence of trying to play football for the rest of this (pointless) season.- 10610 replies

I remember suggesting (seriously) that Kinnear should have been sacked for being the first manager to lose at their place in 28 years. There's no way on earth I would have imagined losing three in a row so badly to them. I take on board a lot of the stuff HF says when defending Pardew and maybe this takes me down to their "obsessed" level but I think being the first manager to achieve this feat ever (since in the 1920s they didn't have managers) should be enough for the cunt to be sacked. Of course there are bigger problems at the club but shit like this has to be addressed.

If he doesn't sharpen up and realise how much time you get in this league he'll fail spectacularly.
-
Santon should never play for us again for his "efforts" to stop that goal.
-
BTW if anything comes from the fans on the pitch the club should get their hands on the footage from any and every game we've played at their place since it was built and ask for the same penalty to be applied for each incursion.
