Apart from one experimental album by a favourite guitarist of mine (Bill Nelson), I don't think I have or like anything pre 1970 and the first Sabbath album. I can see a lot of influences from earlier but it just doesn't resonate with me.

When I went to our games n the US in 2000, I remained standing for the two anthems out of good manners in someone else's country more than anything else so I think on that basis I think he's slightly wrong.
