Badly written queries can run for hours, block processes and generally kill servers.
-
A little knowledge can be dangerous though. I'm part of a data analytics broad team and the reporting team who IMO should only have access to the data via cubes and views write their own queries including on source systems rather than the warehouse and some of them are atrocious.

I watched Blazing Saddles a few weeks ago - its gloriously un-pc.

We do Agile in my current job - getting someone in to run it or teach it seems like a scam as its not rocket science.
-
Back on topic I'm off to Cyprus for two weeks tonight - at work now and its dragging just a tad.

Didn't see the programme but I hate the way demonstrating that you give a shit about Palestinians being shit on makes you some kind of holocaust celebrater.

Being able to answer the type of questions asked as part of the certification at interviews is the benefit more than an actual line on a CV.
-
Doing SQL certification is a good learning exercise as nobody uses the full range of features in most jobs but the actual certs themselves are generally ignored by employers.

27m extra costs mean prices need to rise but his 6.4m has no effect. I can't get my head around their average salary being 10k - how the fuck do people live on that?

Might have said before but I disliked Jack because of his tenure but I don't mind him now after reading a quote that the only team that got him out of his seat when they score is NUFC. Considering he was a lifer at one club that's good crack especially compared with his completely indoctrinated Manc cunt brother.

I went to a testimonial in about 75 where supermac was away with England and Charlton guested in his place.

Or of course anyone who doesn't like anything American.

The Simpsons isn't a kids show like - it has gone downhill over the last decade but at its peak it was one of the best shows on TV in any genre.

Got tickets on friday for Charlatans supported by The Bunnymen in December. Also have garbage in November.
-
Xfm on my brief car journeys. Does the job - occasional random new bands discovered.
-
Hint - try and find the quotes from shepherd about them thinking we were going to get relegated so having to act - absolutely fuck all to do with the fans.

I'm sure the smb has had it pointed out a few times that the spitting was supposedly when he was England manager. If he was "hounded out" because a few people were a bit disappointed with his last full season and expressed it then fuck knows what you call the abuse the last few SAFC managers have had - probably hate crimes.

Saudi and the others aren't signed up to the UN convention on refugees - its because they don't want to face giving their slave foreign workers any rights.
-
Illustrates how two tier the EU is when those who've made it to Hungary still want to move on. I was starting to agree with those asking wtf Saudi and the other rich Arab nations are doing but on second thoughts I wouldn't wish that on the poor fuckers - at least in Europe they have a chance at a decent life if they want it.

That cunt off soccer am spoiled the sixth sense on the show.

I tend to agree with Gemmill. I used to be a spoiler Nazi on other forums because even though they never bothered me, I could tell how much it pissed other people off. I remember we used to have a Breaking Bad thread which I stayed out of as I haven't watched it yet and I don't think that's a bad idea for other series.

Newcastle United V Arsenal // St James Park // 12.45 KO
NJS replied to Anorthernsoul's topic in Newcastle Forum
The question for me regarding intent is that he's made challenges like that in other games already so it obviously part of his make up which is what Gemmill is getting at - whether this was harsh or not the lad has to tone it down. -

Regarding being a marked man - I wouldn't be surprised if the refs had already had a chat about him so he played into their hands. Could have got away with it but it wasn't unjust. I'd asked the cunt why he booked Gini for dissent but ignored Cazorla, Sanchez and the rest of the entirely pathetic squealing bastards in red. -
It's an example of policy being changed to fit public stupidity. When the Tories originally encouraged millions to move from the normal dole to any form of sickness/disability it was because the jobless total was the bottom line and any way to reduce that was a priority. Now thirty years on the figure isn't that important but the perceived fiddling is. A legacy of their own making and incidentally another narrative NL have allowed to be blamed on them with little or no argument.

I really hope Taylor's performance on Saturday hasn't made them think we're okay as we'll be fucked when his season ends at Xmas/whenever.
