Reminds me of the great Sugar Puffs boycoutt.

I had a pair of denons but they broke (wire came out of earpiece) a few weeks ago but they were canny before that for about a year. Now have a pair of Plantronic ones which are working out so far.

Israel continues its merciless pounding of the defenceless.

You forgot the map of what jehovah promised them in 2000 bc. -
As I said above, I think there's a parallel religious savagery between the US and Saudi penal codes. Might seem like a push but the more religious states in the US seem to show the most enthusiasm for the death penalty. I'd also point to the practice of inviting onlookers to executions as another similarity. I don't think there's any difference between injecting drug cocktails and crucifixions from an ethical pov but executing people for protest or apostasy is worthy of an extra level of protest.

The soundtrack was the first record I owned as a kid - I guess the equivalent of a DVD today.
-
Evolved is the wrong word - I don't see anything wrong with using civilised, developed of enlightened - the latter especially given the religious angle. That applies to the US as well to a certain degree.

The story of this season is I expect the other team to score every single time they attack us. Until that changes even slightly we're fucked. -

Turned down the job pre-Dalglish iirc. RIP -
I thought that Wolf Alice would be right up my street but found the album generally underwhelming.

Because their main message now is workers versus benefit claimants.
-
In general terms obviously but they didn't signal this approach pre-election.
-
Yes but I also think it would be wrong to apply a personal cost/benefit exercise no matter how accurate which this woman could/should have done. May be idealistic but you should consider the big picture and other people. Of course such consideration could go either way in vote choice.
-
It all smacks of Bill Hicks' routine about dialling up toys from a brochure - I think they get a video game thrill out of drones.
-
Unfortunately getting rid of them means people like her not voting for the cunts so you have to engage with them. I've never understood working class tories. Not saying they should automatically vote labour but not recognising their enemy is incredible. I hear them talking about aspiration not realising none of the things which support social mobility are tory inventions or ideals.

Not forgetting the hypocrisy of the whore using, drug taking rulers on their London junkets.

Have to say any film with an "unhappy" ending always gains a couple of marks from me.
-
I've always been in two minds - I think the size is a plus when considering dealing with big fish like China, India and the US and some of the social protection in the face of Tory abuse is worthwhile but it lacks democracy for me. I do think it would probably cost jobs overall if the UK withdrew - at least in the short/medium term.

Rome's well worth it - tremendous sense of history.

No different to praying and thanking the Christian God for goals.

The most productive workers in the world are the Germans. They're well trained, well paid, work standard hours and have excellent benefits. Should we aspire as a country to be like them? Well according to our friends, no - we should aspire to be low paid in dangerous environments, with no rights and work ludicrous hours under a communist regime. The party for workers my arse.
-
Will be remembered for stabbing Thatcher in the back which he didn't do for anyone's good but his own when he should be remembered for what he did when he was on her side.
-
Cameron, Syria.

I always revert to The Fast show sketch where they're at a pretentious dinner party discussing foreign fims when the bloke pipes up with: "Did anyone see that film on Channel 4 last night? - First of all it was in black and white, secondly it was subtitled, thirdly nobody got shot and finally nobody got their kit off. I'll get me coat."
-
I always said the question that should have been put to Thatcher about her support for Pinochet was how many deaths would it have taken before it became distasteful to be his friend. I'd ask the same now of Cameron regarding Saudi Arabia - a country which fucking CRUCIFIES teenagers for protesting.
