  1. They'd always find somewhere else if needed.
  2. Agree with that. There's been an assumption on their part as arrogant as Cameron's.
  3. Read something from Clacton where a load of retirees were whinging about potholes and immigrants - neither very much to do with the EU.
  4. The "take a pen" shit is pretty funny.
  5. He did write something for the Guardian before the Labour Leadership election under the headline "Even if you hate me, don't vote for Corbyn" so I think he knows he's "divisive" putting it nicely.
  6. I'll probably regret it but the air of competence from the man in that interview fills me with joy.
  7. I think his opnion was mainly based on the common market as was rather than the EU as is - though his arguments about democracy still apply to a certain extent.
  8. Three - Scottish, AV and this one. Might as well release an App.
  9. I went to vote at seven and got there just beforehand. There was an initial queue divide for two desks with a sign saying "Road names A-Pa to the left, Pe to Z to the right". Bloke in front of me reads this and moves to the right and I stand behind him. Six feet further on the two desks have the full road names on them. The bloke reads this and moves queues to the left. And these are the thick fuckers we're leaving this huge decision to - jesus wept.
  10. I caught ten seconds of Johnson on the news and the overwhelming impression I got was of someone who doesn't care about the issue but is simply using it to try and further himself politically.
  11. I agree on the most poor countries. I've read that a single veto can prevent membership so I think even a consensus towards turkey joining would be stopped by several countries - Cyprus and Greece to name but two.
  12. I think there's an element of people's experiences which forms their opinion - a lot of these working class areas tend towards a negative view of EU immigrants whereas for me working with Germans, French and yes Polish people has been very positive. I do wish more British people would see European as part of their identity as I think it's apparent how much we have in common. As I've said before I think we have layers of tribal identity which starts small and goes all the way to planet level. I don't think there's anything wrong with European being one of those levels. On immigration I'd say that I count myself as an economic migrant albeit internally who moved 300 miles for a better life. The lad next to be moved 12000 miles - I don't see that much difference really though I accept that shared culture helps.
  13. Saw a gif taking the piss showing the bit where he asks Sansa what he should do and she says "Don't do what he wants you to do" and he replies "good advice" then does exactly what Ramsay wants him to do.
  14. His dad left for KL before he started any training I think.
  15. It's nice to think of Johnson touring the country to apologise to those whose lives had been ruined by his recession. This is a cunt who called a 250k salary chicken feed.
  16. I think the relatively happy ending was a bit too much in show context so there had to be a price. Even if Jon had got there in time to save him he wouldn't have been able to get back to his lines and it's doubtful Rickon could have survived the battle.
  17. Best complaint is that Sansa fucked off before Ramsay mentioned not feeding his dogs.
  18. Zig zag versus quickest/shortest route to Jon. But Aye overall.
  19. I watched it before leaving for work this morning - Sky show it at 2am to coincide with the US so I record it then. It's canny like.
  20. I didn't see it but apparently someone said to Cameron on QT "prime minister you're relying on experts" as an insult. It brings to mind the US Republican type of distrust of intelligence and pride in ignorance and stupidity (think Palin) and it's terrible to see it prevalent in the UK. Of course we have a proponent of that stance around here somewhere......
  21. Try this: https://www.facebook.com/UniversityofLiverpool/videos/1293361974024537/
  22. Plans in place Firstly there will be a massive task to disengage eu law from British law - a huge task in itself. The two year thing has nothing to do with trade - it's just to negotiate the exit. The trade agreements will take years.
  23. I think even if remain wins by a Scotland like margin in the end, he's still finished when people wake up to how stupid it all was even leaving the campaigns aside.
  24. Boris or any other brexiter - they're all cunts even by Tory standards. "No top down reorganisation pf the NHS" - followed by the Health and Patient care act which makes it a legal rquirement to tender all services - and that was by your cunt let alone Boris.
