  1. My senior boss is Jewish but I just see him as a manc who's a really decent bloke. I think Gemmills trying to say that defining yourself strongly by any criteria to the degree that they and I'd also say other religious groups do in the 21st century is questionable. I'm all for a sense of identity but keeping that going through migrations over so long a period with a lot of "dilution" along the way does make people see them as a bit "stubborn". No excuse for any maltreatment of course but the human psychosis of seeing "outsiders" probably lies behind it.
  2. I think there are anti-semites in Labour but not taking evidence from the Jewish Labour movement does look a bit biased. Also like how they imply Twitter abuse is Corbyn's fault.
  3. The one before shouldn't matter - if a "slag" is raped its still rape. The one after just raises questions of how she was affected by it.
  4. He supposedly came out with a general "can I join in" to the pair of them and she supposedly agreed - I don't think exactly how was stated - maybe she waved him over. On the US swimmer I think there's a difference between assuming consent by a lack of objection during foreplay and grabbing someone who's unconscious.
  5. It stemmed on the fact she used the phrase "fuck me harder" which was deemed to show she was in control or at least she thought it was a "normal" shag for her. They also suggested the fact that she shagged one of them two weeks after the incident showed it wasn't traumatic. Thing is there's suggestions the two blokes were primed with the phrases etc for the reward. It's dodgy as others will try the same in other cases.
  6. Laser the fuckers - I'm a bit of an advocate as it's a fantastic life changer.

    New Phone

I pay £18 for 6gb which I never fully use +unlimited calls and texts on Giff Gaff.
  8. It looked quite hopeful when Gorbachev was in but it seems to have gone to shit again since. There's some stat about the UK that 85% of the wealth is owned by 5% of the population. I saw a claim that a similar percentage of the wealth in Russia is owned by 135 individuals.
  9. I have to confess, I've never tried marmite. I suppose most if not all of your food preferences are determined when you're a kid and we just never had it around. This probably applies to a few things I now shy away from trying like avocado.
  10. Don't know of it was a pisstake but I saw a tweet that Google reported a shit load of searches for "What's a Lepo ?" after the US debate.
  11. She seems to be saying she was following Cameron's line but now she can be her own woman. I believe that woman is indeed a cunt.
  12. I find that Davis a bit strange - when he ran for the leadership and also when he was opposing labour's id card, he seemed to be a bit of a Kenneth Clarke type "semi-decent" tory. Now he's come back for this gig he's more like a typical anti-eu, nasty typical cunt.
  13. Just seen a poll that 34% thought Trump "won". The mentality is out there.
  14. Dogma definitely should be included. I enjoyed Jay and Silent Bob though admit it's not up to the standard of that list.
  15. His tax thing plays perfectly up to his supporter's ideal of a small government. Ironically a lot of them depend on welfare etc.
  16. Talking of Clinton, her patronising of Sanders supporters as no marks living in their parents' basements was fucking crass. If they had a Bruno Ginelli running her campaign, I'm sure he'd tell her to just keep her mouth shut for four weeks.
  17. The Republican party seems to accept a line has been crossed with this latest thing but they were happy to nominate Pence who has said some typically despicable things about gays. They're reaping what they've sowed for the last twenty years and its quite funny seeing them try to disown Trump and ideally put someone "reasonable" in his place. It'll be interesting four years from now when they put up someone competently nasty like Cruz up against Clinton.
  18. Well if you use integrity and gravitas as qualities she lacks, I think it's fair to look for those qualities in others.
  19. Where does integrity fit with Fox and Hammond who are proven corrupt and gravitas fit with Johnson who's a jokey racist liar? I agree Abbot is "limited" and your comment about talent pool is right but those in that talent pool have decided to bide their time, plot for and wait for defeat with their heads beneath the ramparts and then emerge talking about caring for the people they won't represent now.
  20. ------ Not quite an asymetricacal labia dismissal.
  21. Where does "Tocky locker" come from?
  22. I've always been open to a discussion on whether taxing money more than once is fair with regards to savings or indeed VAT or IHT but the only problem is seperating earned and unearned income - IHT is definitely unearned and also should serve the purpose of supporting a meritocracy but doesn't quite work out like that thanks to avoidance mechanisms.
  23. Irvine Welsh tweeted that Farage had resigned so he could go away to have gender reassignment surgery in order to take up a role as Tory leader - sounds about right.
  24. She's playing to the people who'll vote for her - those too young to remember the war (I know there arent that many left anyway) and too old to have a modern worldview of internationalism. Unfortunately these cunts all vote and they all vote for their small-minded, squalid little bigotries to be played out.
  25. I work for a foreign company and the work force is incredibly diverse. There was an email after the vote saying they'd do their best to look after any EU citizens affected but obviously the tories have now extended the witch hunt beyond that. A combination of the loss of passporting and any kind of interference in hiring practices will have a lot of banks and other institutions eyeing a move. Damaging the economy to shore up power by pandering to daily mail scum. Brilliant.
