  1. I think you all know what I think of the royals but this was just plain fucking stupidly.
  2. No he thinks its completely wrong I think it's a bit like the mackems - if you want to adopt a label as a badge of identity then it's fair enough - though I respect that Jews might disagree.
  3. The dodgy walk up and down Seven Sisters Road in days of yore is another reason. My instinctive answer to which London club do you hate most has always been Spurs.
  4. I wouldn't trust a scouser with an outside shitter let alone a house.
  5. Last two things I've watched: Hanna - really enjoyed it and looking forward to where it goes from here - the lass is excellent. Sex education - completely different to anything I normally watch but again thoroughly enjoyed it. I do admit I'd watch absolutely anything with Gillian Anderson in it though. Just started Russian doll - intriguing start.
  6. It crossed my mind that Varys might have setup the dragonstone ambush.
  7. Bit of bluffing plot wise if Jaime does intend to off Cersei - he didn't have to be such a cunt to Brienne in that case - could have just said he was off to finish it.
  8. If you look at maps, it's a kick up the arse from King's Landing to Dragonstone compared to other teleportations.
  9. If that's a pen for Brighton then we should have had one last night even if Atsu didn't go down.
  10. As far as I'm concerned as we scored then he should have got a yellow. Also I know it wouldn't have mattered but Milner committed a yellow card offence only for him to play advantage then book him for a second foul 20 seconds later - if the two fouls had been separated by a break in play then it would have been two yellows but of course its only one. Its similar to players like Keane and Rooney giving refs a mouthful of abuse while being carded - oh for one of them to have the balls to book them again. Finally without wishing lasting damage on him, I'm glad Salah got a real whack after spending the entire game cheating - missing their big game on Wednesday serves the cunt right.
  11. One positive story was that that lass who broke down on question time 4 years ago after voting tory only to lose tax credits was elected as a Labour Councillor - I think a few people on here, probably including me, were a bit nasty about her at the time but fair play to her now.
  12. Looked liked another signature 1-1 draw until the end.
  13. I watched it before work yesterday and found it too dark visually so I watched most of it again last night after changing the picture settings on my TV and it was much clearer. As for the battle plan, I think they were torn between not having everyone killed while allowing the NK to get to Bran. Still generally poor though.
  14. Exactly my first thought
  15. Thought she could have offered Jorah a dying moment suckle to send him off happy.
  16. I agree but the idea was that all the winter is coming stuff and the first scene of the entire thing were foretelling this big living v dead story.
  17. I thought she'd given that dagger to Sansa but that was definitely a dragon glass one so I just assumed she used the one Bran gave her that she used on Littlefinger and was originally the one used to attack Bran when he was first crippled. Also stated as Valerian steel.
  18. I'd add that there seems to be a lot of people saying this was the main story and it's conclusion. I always considered the dead thread as just another part of the big picture.
  19. Both are spotted in the trailer for Ep 4 supposedly. I enjoyed it but still think it's all too rushed.
  20. From what I understand Corbyn is going to be under extreme pressure to tow the membership line to the point of his whole leadership being on the line - could be the breaking point.
  21. It's unlikely but I hope we damage them with a draw or a defeat - it would be a modicum of payback for 96.
  22. I'm in two minds - I think it was somehow right but I would have loved it if we'd scored like that and didn't give the goal back - especially if it was against a team which involves John Terry.
  23. Noticed a classic in a "we're a big club us" thread where someone states the'yre the sixth most successful club in England - this quaint thing they have where only titles actually count.
  24. Managers who were too much in love with overrated cockney/southern team's players and also those of Liverpool who didn't perform for England. David Johnson and Paul fucking Mariner being picked instead of Supermac being a case in point.
