I understood the rule was voting for another party - if I'm wrong and it's just expressing support for another party then fair enough
-
I don't hate new Labour - I just think they failed to right enough wrongs. If you join an organisation you follow the rules - I don't think a lying warmonger should be an exception.

Did he drive to Bradford, vote for him and then brag about it on TV?
-
It's an automatic rule that dates back to at least Blair's leadership.

So we're past the new Man City stage and we've reached the he's a chancer with no real money stage. Great.
-
Just read the last few pages - what's funny is that when they try and play down how high we could go they completely "forget" who our manager is.
-
So I take it last night's hope has evaporated in the cold light of dawn.

Stay classy cunts

Of course - note Dangernonce's simple reply: "Mag Plod".

I finished Russian Doll which was good but I thought the ending as in how they got out of it was a bit twee. Also watched After life - really good but I can't for the life of me think how/why a second series will work/is needed (apart from a shed load of money obviously).

She's the epitome of that type of home counties, blue rinse tories - vile woman.
-
I read something about how Robert Peel as PM stopped the Corn laws being passed as he thought it was for the good of the country and that cast the tories out of power for about 20 odd years. Can't see that happening now. I can see this shit show going on as well as there could be swings between pro EU Labour/others (post-Corbyn) and anti-eu tories/others for years to come.
-
I don't think David Miiband would have won in 2015. He had the Iraq/Blair legacy and the tories would have attacked his part in the crash (bollocks but would have played well). I'd add that if you think 1.6 million votes would have swung on a fuller remainer when the remain campaign as a whole was shite, you're dreaming.
-
I still love the idea that if Corbyn had been full on remain, parliamentary numbers would have allowed him to not "enable brexit". There has never been nor ever will be a majority for a revocation, soft Brexit, second ref or any other "unicorn" ideas you come up with. But keep saying it's his fault.
-
This is why I'm unconvinced about another ref. There was even some talk of the tories being okay with it if no deal was an option. If that happens then the remain goal line clearance is definitely a non-starter.
-
I'd assume even a temporary/partial CU prevents their WTO/trade deal paradise. Then again that assumes they have a bastard clue.
-
She's tweaking her shit deal again - still unlikely to pass according to tory chief whip.

And a seventy-odd year old fat cunt as well. (Martin, not you)

I see HF's on form suggesting Bran engineered everything and won the game - grain of sense in it

Probably the only "powerful" people left.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

I went on his trip to Kiev in 03 which was £400 I think and he hired the plane from a Ukrainian airline so its possible to deal with that part of the world. -
Breaking bad was "easy" to end satisfactoryly as it was dealing with two characters whose fate didn't affect the bigger world. Game of thrones, counting those alive before the long night, had to determine the fate of probably twenty main characters and also the fate of the whole world. The results were mixed. Reading between the lines, they followed Martin's vision more or less to the letter albeit without his words to follow. I think it proved too much for them and may prove too much for him if he ever gets there.
-
I agree, just thought they could have shown that more by giving him a couple of lines.

Also bringing back Robin Arryn for one "Aye" was a pisstake - it sort of made sense who was there (apart from the two anonymous fuckers) but the whole thing still jarred.
