Dialy Express seem to think we're signing Woodgate and Gravesen Also a striker is expected in, £15 million the lot (not sure if Woody is on loan)

Lost at SJP because they were gash that day, went to Newcastle for the money, Spurs are the best run team in the Universe and every real player wants to join them; how gracious in defeat. GREAT fucking poster tbh. Come on, Gem, just because he never directly comes out with anything cock-worthy, he's not exactly subtle, is he? Fair balls, NR. Does he still have that sig btw? Poster by the grace of Geordie God. 168400 The sig is hilarious. It used to be so much worse over there with HTT like. He genuinely got it into his head that he was some sort of voice of the Geordie people for a while. Mind it didn't help his disciples telling him that - I remember on his old Howaythetoon board someone actually telling him that he "had a way of capturing what it is to be a Newcastle fan in words" or words to that effect. Jesus wept. Re Jol, I don't think he's a great poster, and the protection he gets off the mods over there is pathetic - it's basically because he can string a sentence together and they're desperate to show how hospitable they can be to fans of other teams. But the fact that he can string a sentence/paragraph/cohesive post together makes him something of a rarity over there, and means that his posts are at least worthy of reading if often packed with patronising shit. 168411 Martin Jol posts something patronising on the wind up yet someone has a go back at him over his comments he does the whole "I'm leaving the board" routine! Only for HTT and the other Admin to PM him asking him to change his mind and give the board another go. The fucking big fanny that he is Is 'ITK' bollocks gets on my tits anarl

Seems like it'll be £8 million now, £6 million next year with the rest made up if Man Utd win the league, CL, if he signs another contract at the club and on international appearances. Similar to the Rooney deal. Also 20% of it going West Ham's way.
-
Man Utd. Having said that that twat Martin Jol over on Newcastle-Online is making Spurs a close second.

Have they? 167189 If you believe the Sunday People they have

Some lad on N-O reckons we're trying to take Ronaldo (the real one) on loan
-
There was a thread a while back on N-O with details of prices etc, someone on their called BobJohnson who can help you out if you're interested
-
The club shop have his shirt number as 11 next season (even though the club gave it Milner about a week ago)
-
In his best season in the Premiership he managed 13 goals. We can do better for that sort of money.
-
You're right, I might be. Even if I told you who my source was, it still means nothing. I should post my info on N-O tbh; everyone on there has their own source though 163881 You're NOBODY on N-O without a source tbh. 163888 Didn't your source tell you O'Neill had signed and Freddie was helping him find a house near the airport?

Right- I'm not Roeder ranting but is anyone else besides myself slightly disturbed by the fact that an ex Hammers gaffer is now wanting to buy from them for the new club? Is this the MO that we can expect? 160168 Not really, Ashton is a good striker with the potential to get alot better, Roeder didn't exactly leave them on good terms so I can't see him doing them any favours (like Souness did with Rangers) I was more worried that he'll try and snap up players who played for him while at West Ham - Defoe, Johnson, Kanoute etc.
-
The problem with trying to sign Ashton is that Norwich will get something like 25% of the transfer fee so we'll have to pay over the odds for West Ham to sell.

To be fair, Kluivert was much more a cast off than Parker was. Barcelona were absolutely desperate to get shot. 159540 Barca wanted shot as Kluivert was the highest paid player in the World at the time (his loyalty bonus was around £4 million per year! ) Saviola was on a high wage too which is why he's been loaned out for the last few years...
-
Who was he forced to sell? The only decent player I can think of that left was Lampard but that was at the start of Roeder's time as caretaker.
-
Defoe to Liverpool looks nailed on to me.
-
Looks like this one will be sorted sooner rather than later.
-
Not sure I'd sell him for that although getting him off the wage bill could be worth another £3 million over the season.
-
Just to get back on topic... £12 million is a bit harsh!
-
Goal of the month wasn't it?

Robson: I wanted Carrick instead of Butt
Baggio replied to Dr Kenneth Noisewater's topic in Newcastle Forum
As for Carrick - I remember everyone saying he was shite and we'd only be signing him because he's a Geordie Spurs took a chance and got lucky, not sure how long he'll stay with them. -

I seem to remember both Freddie and Sir Bobby both being happy to wait until after the World Cup to see how both players performed, by then Seitaridis had agreed to European Champions Porto and Miguel had a £10 million price tag on his head. Trabelsi turned us down to go to Arsenal, a move which fell through. -
The League Managers Association chairman has stated on Sky Sports News that he has been in contact with over 80% of league managers and asked them what they thought of the situation. All of the managers asked stated they beleived it to be wrong if Roeder got the job as this would undermine the reason the rule was put in place for. To keep high standards in managing Premiership clubs.

Won't the LMA all stick together on this? I can't see them giving Roeder the nod when it goes against everything they stand for.
