  2. Yeah I know it makes sense an all that but I just LOVE books, especially old ones.
  3. I am thinking of buying a Kindle, but worry I would miss the whole book experience, my son said the same. Im torn really.
  4. Urgh!!! There was one in the loo this morning, hubby had to get it. My fear of spiders is way out of hand. Im a nervous wreck this time of year
  5. Noo its ok Yeah I know its rare, its just something Ive been thinking about for awhile now. I seem to have alot of the symptoms thats all, especially the 'tremors'
  6. The more I hear and read the more I rekon I should just get rid. Even removing the fillings has to be done in a safe, correct way.
  7. yeh maybes you are right, its like asbestos....its ok left alone but don't disturb it!!!
  8. I have her on facebook so I can still get my fill if/when needed. You can have me on facebook anytime Brockles I have indeed not been too grand, I had a "small" heart attack on 10.10.10 , now theres a date i will never forget !! Had a stent put in and am on the mend and off work till beginning of December. Browse a lot but can't be arsed to post and get into the arguments especially since every twat keeps changing their user names and I have not got a clue who I would be arguing with !!! Plus being off the cigarettes is not helping my bullshitometer any Good to see TR getting back to full fitness again tho x Gina!! god girl!! I'm sorry to hear you have been ill too, what a blimin worry for you. Hope things improve and keep up the good work with the cigs, I gave up over a year ago and didnt find it too hard at all. Yeah Im feeling more human now, but things not right but its bearable, I get some results next Weds when I see the consultant, so keep your fingers crossed for me. Sending you a big hug xx Fingers and everything else crossed Waiting for blood test results, am like a bloody pin cushion and covered in bruises, you most likely know the feeling got an MRI scan later this month but hopefully get the all clear after that . I could do with a damn good drink tho ......altho they only said to pack in the cigs not the booze Yeah I know how that feels I just wish they'd find out whats wrong with me. Good luck with all the results though Gina. Hopefully you will be feeling much more jolly by Christmas. Can you not have a couple drinkies or are you on meds? I can have a drink so they said but I am afeared if I have more than a "couple" I will have a cigarette it's been bad enough watching the Toon and only having a couple of drinks and having to rely on my nicotine patch and inhalator !!!! Yeah I see what you mean I dont drink much anyway, but didnt drink at all for the same reason when I first gave up. I didnt have patches but used the inhalator for the first few months, I found it really helped me, mainly for something to do with my hands. (No funny comments boys) Good luck anyway Gina xx
  9. Have you got any Mercury fillings or have you had them removed? My dentist (who is also our friend) assures me they are perfectly safe. But I keep reading articles and worry, especially as I've been so ill recently. I'm on the point of going to our dentist and asking him to remove the couple I have left.

  11. Definately a rocker having used to own one of these at 17 ........ Scooters are for schoolgirls in the south of france.... Rocker of course! CT, Hubby had GT 500's for years, even made two choppers out of them. One of them won awards at the Bath and West custom bike show and was in the mag Back Street Heroes We' ve always had motorbikes and when we met were in a very bad ass bike club But alas we grew up! Hubby is a bike mechanic and now has his own motorbike garage as his business. We currently have a Royal Enfield and he's building a GT750 (a kettle for those who prefer)! he's not doing this one standard as such as he's using a different front end, But it looks awesome. Will post some pics when its finished. I havent really been on a big bike since my teens. Would still love to get back on one but I dont think the body would take all the rough and tumble it used too then. Also very concious of not being one of these 40 something mid life rediscovering their youth jobbies. Would love to grab a scrambler though and head off through the farmers fields to the local quarrys. That used to be the best fun on two wheels. Dont be so daft! I admit as we have a bike garage we do see some sad old bikers who have never grown up, but that doesnt mean to say its not cool to own a motorbike. You can enjoy biking without being a sad git going through a mid life crisis! I suppose hubby doesnt feel that as he's never been without bikes in his life, though of course the car racing and building are his first love. We have 'bike nights' here every Wednesday evening from May to end of Sept on Paignton seafront, run by a local bike club. Bikers come from all over the place just to have a natter and a pint, and its a real mix of all sorts of people. The bikes line up the whole length of the beach. It attracts locals of all ages and grockles (tourists) Alot of the money raised by events and gigs go to charity too. Its good to see Bikers in the news for good reasons. Seriously, my 50 year old brother in law went through it two years back. He bought one of the cheap rip off chopper bikes (im sure you know the ones) and looked a right charlie. Got rid of it two months later. TBH its other tits on the roads in cars that would stop me getting back on one. What a shame, you are missing out on good times. I dont go on the bike much, but when its good weather its a great feeling to put your shades on and go for a ride. Several mates (and hubby) have chops but I have to say they look pretty cool, obviously its who you know

  20. I imagine it'll take a little longer to appear on the breaking news ticker on Fox Sports/ESPN. Agreed, currently showing yesterdays SSN Sorry, didnt know you were there! I've been away for ages
  21. Genuinely can't be bothered. and Gemmill I've got no idea, just every now and then I have a week/fortnight where I'm really low. Yep, then you pipe up, and you're on a high for a while. Once the clocks go back the dark nights hammer me too like. exactly, My mam reckons I've got that daft Seasonal Affected Disorder, she says every time it gets autumnal I bum out. I asked her if that meant her and Dad would finance a move to the South Pacific and she said no. Which made me sad. Try taking Vitamin D. Im always more cheerful in Autumn, my favourite season.
  22. When Ive seen it on Jimbo's telly, then I'll believe it!!
