You're the oldest toon chatter I can remember Toonraider, from about 2002. I remember you on Talk Of The Tyne, I used to post as stevieintoon on there, but they were all clueless mugs about football, and I used to tell them on a daily basis. Skunkers is a disgrace of a board imo. Wow you have a fab memory Stevie Though i do remember you as that name come to think of it. I first ever went online mid 2001, so that would be about right. Was ToTT the old rivals board? Aye. I was a bit mouthy in them days to be honest, but still I made good points about the clueless tools purporting to be toon fans. They used it as a chat thing more than a football thing, there was one kid "Woods1" looked like something out of Bill and Ted, he used to meet people in the Companions Club, never saw him talk about football once. How about resurrecting the first ever toontastic thread for old times sake? What year did this particular board come into being - was it 2005? Yeah I preesume so, most of us signed up in July 05. I was invited but cant for the life of me remember who by!

God this has been a trip down memory lane! I think I was a member of the very old Toontastic then Toonchat. I used HTT too, which I quite liked. Stevie made a good point about early Toontastic feeling abit 'clicky' as alot of members knew each other and I for one just didnt feel part of it. Its far better in that respect now but I think I will always feel sort of like I'm outside looking in. I havent been on NO for absolutely ages, I must have a look. I think Im a member, though maybe under my old name of Looneytoon which I used to use many years back on a Freeserve footballchat forum ( I have people from there on my FB who still remember me first as Looney ) Oh the memories. We all met in Newcastle one year, went to a match and out on the town that evening, great days. And the main group of us from back then remain friends to this day which I think is remarkable as we all live all over the country. Is Skunkers still going? I used to post on there but you get so much grief for being a woman Couple good lads on there though I remember.

A bit down really Had to sleep today as back in work again tonight but kept getting woken up with my right hand tingling and going numb. My carpal tunnel symptoms are back with a vengence it seems Its been fine and symptomless since the other hand was operated on back last July. Weird. Also it seems the op and all I went through after it, was a waste of time as now the left hand is starting carpal symptoms again. Im still not right healthwise since then and it gets me down. Oh well at least Im better than I was but all around me it seems people are ill and I keep hearing of people I know who have cancer and its get you down, you wander if you're next.

Shearer is GOD

Only with certain things I think he says that to annoy me cos I'm left handed...ok I do smash the odd glass or plate maybe but thats cos Im always in a rush and being a woman have to multi task. Plus having carpal tunnel in both hands doesnt much help
-
Im a Jamie fan now too, he used to annoy me abit but he really cares about what he does and is full of handy tips. He cooks like I do at home, none of this fancy 3 peas and some mangetout arranged prettily on a plate! Just good, wholesome food. About food processors, I was watching Jamie the other day finely slice potatoes in one and said to hubby thats so quick! I'm going to get one but he says Im too dangerous and 'cack handed' in the kitchen and would slice my fingers off

No, load of tripe. I cycle about 150 miles a week, on and off road. Ive broken both my collar bones, wrist, arm, ribs. All cycling. Cycled to Nethrlands from Leeds last year to watch the Giro d'Italia, on the leg back I noticed I had a slight issue. Anyways, doctor said it normally stops people walking. Not me! Ginner you see maybe thats cos you're not very ginna now?!

Lol nah, I used to share a very long car trip once a week to reading with a guy who was into quantum physics. Each trip he'd come up with a scenario similar to this. It was his idea of fun Ahh well its better than discussing the weather or NUFC I suppose

You'd have been better off with my porridge Cath

Im impressed there are so many of you who enjoy cooking. I enjoy it if I'm doing something new or something I've invented, but generally when you've cooked a meal most nights for a family since you were 18 its becomes abit of a chore Tonight will be simples, smoked haddock with alittle butter and black pepper wrapped in foil and baked in the oven with crushed new potatoes with Rosemary and peas.

You wouldn't mind having a word with my wife would you, TR? She manages to do what you say is very hard with ease. Tis all very selective of course!
