Sad and miserable really Father In law was put on the old syringe driver yesterday, not long for him now. Im going to have a few hours kip then back to the hospital to be with hubby and family. I fear it may be a long day/night.

At last after over two weeks I can cook again today! New cooker arrived on Monday, hubby connected it up last night. I've quite enjoyed the time off cooking duties but I am looking forwards to cooking a proper meal. On the plus side of it all though is I've got the hang of cooking with a slow cooker!

If you like crisps/savoury snacks make your own. Use parsnip or potato shavings and spray lightly with oil then bake in the oven. Then you can add your own salt/pepper to taste.
