  1. Just talking about it makes me fancy one to be honest. I have the very occasional, and I mean very occasional spliff, am nee Shaun Ryder, but that has to go as well, because that's what got me back on the tabs in the first place. I don't like the old 'happy baccy' but someone we know smokes it all the time, I mean ALL the time....more of that than baccy in every roll up! Hubby gave up smoking years ago but still fancies a spliff but daren't, as like you he's worried he'll start smoking again.
  2. 19 months without a ciggy now for me It was much easier than I thought, I just stopped dead with no help. But occasionally I could murder one!! Normally when I see someone else lighting up or if I'm having a drink. But like Stevie, there is NO going back now!
  3. No offence CT but thats my idea of complete HELL It looks very similar to our very own Devon County Show. Fine if you're a farmer or you're into tractors, cowpats and wellies Maybe if you have small children who like to see the animals and go on the rides its something to do but other than that all our 3 day show does is block up the M5 and make us queue for ever as we're normally on the way to some race track somewhere
  4. Yup. The geographical distribution of the applications to councils tells its own story. Link to a map on page of link below http://wikileaksdatajournalism.wordpress.c...2%80%93-mapped/ None in Devon at all! Thats what I like to see!!
  5. Well we are packed up and almost ready for tomorrow. Racing at Brands Hatch. Have a good weekend everyone.
  6. Worse again when its a toon player calling them United. Looks like you missed all of the fun and games there. You are what I'd class as a proper toon fan, you'd agree with my stance, mugs don't. Alan Shearer says it. Cringeworthy. Honestly, I even find it hard to comprehend when a fan of a team with no 'United' in their name calls them simply 'United', let alone a Newcastle fan/player doing it. Surely they're just Man U to everyone with our club in their hearts? 'United' is almost a term of endearment and anyone, other than a fan of theirs, should have no business saying it. There are only two 'Uniteds' in my mind and heart- Newcastle and Torquay
  7. As I've said countless times, I'd be more than happy to contribute to running costs each year as many of us would.
  8. Yeah! YEAHHHHHHHH! I think it may be time for me to give this forum a little rest don't ya know?! I have enough stress in my real life without coming on here and getting wound up half way through each thread. As if you could live without reading my posts. Stick around, and just ignore the knobs. Absence makes the heart grow fonder Baby!!!
  9. Yeah! YEAHHHHHHHH! I think it may be time for me to give this forum a little rest don't ya know?! I have enough stress in my real life without coming on here and getting wound up half way through each thread. Don't let it get to you. Little boys never really grow up - it's pathetic. Not always true Cath, neither my hubby or son would waste their precious time arguing with strangers on internet forums! Each to their own, but it does my head in A good heated debate is one thing but constant petty comments and whinging is another!!

  11. OH FFS!!!!!!!! Will you lot let this drop? We're ALL pissed off with it, constant bickering and pathetic jibes ruining every thread. Just piss off and do it somewhere else, cos you're dragging this forum down.
  12. I have lost my Mum and my step Mum but still have a Mum in Law. I've bought her a soppy card and will be visiting Thorntons later to choose a selection of her fave choccys. My son always buys me a special card and flowers/chocs and yes I love it I'm looking forwards to Mothers Day also because its the first round of the BTCC I will sit and watch that whilst I eat my chocs
  13. Thats tomorrow's dinner sorted ta !
  14. How sad but very ironic that Eddie Stobart's life was limited to 56!
  15. mmmm yes, mushroom carbonara for me please! Christ no! Chicken and bacon-happy with how it turned out. You can get sort of caught in a routine of cooking the same handful of meals. Nice to mix it up a bit with something you've not done before. Have you got the recipe for it Barney? This is pretty much how I make mine… Spaghetti Carbonara I tend to just use Parmesan, and only the egg yolks, so I'd use an extra egg or two. mmm that looks scrummy thanks MF
  16. Happy Birthday sweetie xxxx
  17. Apparantely its National Cleavage Day today!

  19. Back at the docs next week to get a higher dose. The young female doctor who was forever wanting to get them out and have a play has left for another surgery, so it's strictly business with the new Indian fella. Yay go for the 20mg a night like me!! What you say brings to mind something a patient said to one of the staff the other day....he was being assisted to have his bath, to be honest he could manage to wash himself ok, but being rather lazy and not one to miss a golden opportunity called out...'Can you wash my balls please!!! It was shouted so loudly that visitors down the corridor heard him Just washed? Gemmill has his in weekly psychotherapy sessions. The good news is that the drugs are keeping him chipper, he's called one Karl and the other Sigmund. Shame! Well thats me off to bed for the day...night night from deepest darkest Devon

  22. Well yeah, the whole 'ailments' thread has been very interesting!
  23. Maybe they are all just the same person. Noooo there is only one Gemmill I hope he comes back (and the other two of course) Bianca is one of my favourite posters and I would miss him if he disappeared Moist! Cheers TR. Don't worry kids, I'm still here. Just haven't felt inspired to say much this week. Piss off!!! Well we should have known better really Stevie, Bianca is part of the furniture on here! I get times when I just can't be bothered to join in. Sometimes its because its all been said before! We are going around in circles
