  3. Is it this.... the fish are killed at the end of the day, fresh fish used daily, and they are constantly crapping in the water with your feet. You are exchanging your own dead skin for digested and defecated dead skin from other people's feet. EWWWW I just saw this, that's put me right off now

  7. Anyone had a Fish Pedicure? I have been roped in by some friends to have this treatment, you put your feet in a bath and the fish nibble at your feet It does seem weird! "Garra Rufa fish originate from natural hot springs in Turkey. These are toothless members of the carp family. Garra Rufa fish have suction cup mouths that gently lift dry skin away without damaging the healthy new skin underneath-revealing soft, supple skin. The spa is believed to help with conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. It is good for the prevention of cracked heels ,calluses, corns and athletes foot. It stimulates acupuncture points helping regulate the nervous system, improves circulation and generally relax the body and release fatigue! The fish produce a natural enzyme in their saliva called diathanol, this helps heal the skin. The spa treatment is not meant as a cure but as a temporary alleviation of symptoms although some users have experienced complete cure after repeated treatments'

  18. The best seafront in the country (that ive been too) is Weymouth. Has it all. Not my cup of tea. Torquay seafront has changed vastly over the last few years CT. Infact there are so many more proposed changes that local people are not happy. We dont want to lose our beautiful Victorian Pavillion and Princess Gardens but there is talk of a new hotel complex around the grounds The cliffs opposite Torre Abbey Beach have had major works and now there is a new Rock Walk pathway right up to the top of the cliff with spectacular views of the bay from the top. There is now a permanent massive balloon which stays tethered but takes you up high for more views of the bay. (I hate it, its ugly) But Grockles love it. Our harbour has had major works, there is now a bridge and the inner harbour is always full of water which makes such a difference. The Marina is stunning. Our clock tower has been restored to its former beauty too. All in all some of the changes are an improvement but I'd get rid of the arcades and the tacky shop signs around the harbour, they look cheap and nasty.
  19. awful books At least our famous Author -Agatha Christie wrote some good stuff. Though no one used to care she was from Torquay but now they use it as a tourist attraction!
  20. Sorry HF but not Clooney You look like the doc at our surgery who does the cortisone injections. Nasty nasty man!!
