And when he actually got to drive it...
-
Yes I have Craig, I know exactly how you felt. Did you ever see the video of Lewis and Jenson viewing Senna's MP4-4? I loved that, it shows clearly how Lewis feels about his team and his hero Senna. When he sat in the car it meant so much to him.

I doubt very much you'll be the only one in your cinema with tears in your eyes Bev. Like I said when he was alive he was never my favourite - a bit like Alonso these days but on a much larger scale. The guy was an absolute genius behind the wheel. Never more so than the 1993 season when he got 5 wins out of a car that was effectively the equivalent of today's Renault against a Williams that was more dominant than the 2011 Red Bull. Definitely Craig, one of his best seasons imo and its often forgotten too. He was always my favourite driver. I have lots of F1 memorabilia, loads of Williams stuff, most of it signed by various drivers and test drivers, fireproof gear my son wears racing to this day and even parts off Damon Hill's Arrows....(another team I loved) But my most treasured piece is a painting of Senna with his McLAREN. Yes IF I go to see the Movie I will have to take a packet of tissues for sure!

Hell yeah!!!!
-
Yeah I've been watching clips of the Movie for a couple months now trying to toughen myself up a bit, as I'm not too sure about going to see the film because Senna was my absolute hero and I still cannot get over the fact he's gone I'm afraid I'll make a complete tit of myself crying in the cinema.

I admit to crying when Torquay got relegated into the Conference, I thought that would be the total end of us being such a small club.....but we fought back. (I am a girl though, so its allowed)
-
On another note- Did you see the Torquay United chairman sat with the fans with his TUFC shirt on? That's how it's done for real A real fan out for the day to support his team......like he's always done. Not a staged pretence/media stunt

Yes, debut album released in 1980. Band formed in 1977. EP released 1978. Clark joined band in 1979. Band toured in 1979. Do not question my knowledge of DL thank you. Their early influences were T Rex. Sweet. Slade and the like. Also DL or their fans have never called themselves 'heavy Rock' so dont get your knickers in a twist and try listening to some of their decent early songs. I genuinely hope none of that data storage was achieved at the expense of any useful nursing knowledge ffs. Frightening stuff quite frankly. LOL No dont worry, its all stored!! I am a real DL nut though I will say no more, I just hate people criticising them who have only ever heard the awful 'pour some sugar' and think they know it all from that one track! -

Agree with all that except the hair metal bit. Crue when they started were fuckin awesome! Pantera, Megadeth, Exodus, Queensryche, Overkill, Ozzy, Testament. Loads and loads of fantastic metal in the 80's (inc. Def Leppard) At last someone who knows Def Leppard were metal in the late 70's /early 80's!! I've also seen Megadeth who were brilliant back in the day! -
I have to deal with them fuckers everyday at work and all they do is moan and shit about having to wait to get paid for fuck sake, theyre all a bunch of nobs, I just wanna tell them to get out and get a friggin job instead of coming to me and complaining I don't think I'd be able to keep my mouth shut Part Two...... Signs...too many of them all over the place. Very unsightly and most are unnecessary. Litter-bugs Daytime TV, especially the show where all the mongs go on slagging each other off, airing their dirty laundry on public TV. Grockles!!!!!!!

Fantastic, chuffed to bits for them. A story of real fans and the love of a football club.

Well I know for certain we've covered this topic before but I can't miss this opportunity of a good whinge about my pet hates 1.Benefit scroungers and fiddlers, who have no intention whatsoever of ever getting a job. 2.Scummy woman shouting at their scummy children and pulling them up the street 3.The way kids speak today, whats going on? Its a kind of ghetto language or something 4.Hearing another person's music through their ear-phones 5.Twats who have their jeans down to their knees 6.Middle lane sitters 7.Brummies/Brummie accent/Birmingham itself 8.Kids walking around with their hoodies up 9.Being cut off by BT/EDF/TalkTalk/Whoever/ after waiting in the 'queue' for over half an hour 10.The crappy music played over the phone whilst you wait in their queue 11.Old folk who they think their advanced years gives them right to be rude and bad mannered 12.Snobs 13.Wine/Food Snobs (there are a couple on here) Back later with Part 2

I hope Stevenage go one-nil up and then fucking implode. I like that idea Sammy Its such a shame that the Play Off Final is at Old Trafford and not Wembley though.

Having watched at first hand three race cars incidents where the cars were burnt to a cinder I can assure you it is not 'fun' at all. One of them, thankfully the driver got out of as the car went up, the next one the driver was pulled out and rolled onto the ground to be 'put out' and the third where a driver we knew was seriously burned to the extent he was left with very little use of his hands. Even where there are no injuries, fire in a race car is awful, our mate's car burnt to a shell, he had saved and worked hard for years to have that car and it literally went up in smoke in minutes. My son and husband do circuit racing and the very thought of either of them being caught up and engulfed in flames terrifies me, it may be 'FUN' to watch even if the driver isn't harmed but try how fun it feels if your loved one was sat in it.

Yes we are all guilty of it, like I said its a roller coaster ride. But when you sit and really think...do we really need all that we have and use. We are greedy I guess.
