http://www.footballgroundguide.co.uk/ cheltenham At one end of the ground is the newest addition to the stadium. The Carlsberg Stand was opened in December 2005 and has a capacity of 1,100 fans. This stand is given to away supporters and is particularly steep in its design. It has a perspex windshield to one side and perspex panels incorporated into its roof, to allow more light to reach the pitch. The stand is unusual in the respect that it has a couple of more rows of seats on one side of it. On one side of the ground is another relatively new stand. The In2Print Stand was opened in November 2001 and was built by Barr Construction. This stand sits proudly at one side of the pitch and houses 2,034 supporters. It is a covered, all seated, single tiered stand, part of which is sometimes given to away supporters. On the other side of the pitch is the UCAS Main Stand, which has seating to the rear and terracing at the front. Straddling the half way line, it does not extend the full length of the pitch, having open spaces to either side. At one end is the small, covered, Cheltenham & Gloucester Terrace, which is the home end of the ground. chester city The ground was opened in 1992. All four sides are covered and are roughly the same height, making the stadium look quite tidy. Each stand has perspex windshields to each side, whilst the corners of the ground are open. The stadium is a small, fairly simple affair with two sides being seated and the two ends being terrace. The East Stand is slightly taller than the facing West Stand, having a few more rows of seating and some enclosed glassed viewing areas at the back of it. The stadium is completed with a set of four thin modern floodlight pylons. One interesting fact about the ground is that most of it (apart from half the East Stand and the club offices) is in actually situated in Wales.

Aye, I think we were all rooting for Premiership opposition after we trounced Mansfield. 76584 i know youve written that to make me bite In all truth torquay have beaten the brummies once (and they know it) who says we cant again? only this time we wont be cheated out of it! Anyway, i was speaking from a purely selfish point of view. Besides if we (toon) have serious aspirations to this cup, then we'd have to knock out far better than Birmingham!! 76593 Chomp! 76595 yeah ok

Official Newcastle United Vs Mansfield thread

Torquay were so unlucky going on what I saw on MOTD. Burton Albion just had one saved off the line against Man United. Would love to see the mancs get embarrassed by this lot like. 76263 feck it! i thought it kicked off at 4pm, i'll put it on now, thanks Gem. Yes we were very unlucky, especially with the disallowed goal. But what really ticked me off is on MOTD and YOSS earlier, they carefully showed the brummies 2 or 3 attempts on goal and ours.....made it look pretty even, but my god, it wasnt like that at all We had them backs to the wall! They were hanging on for the replay not us!!! and yes! i have spat my dummy out -
Where did I say I wasn't appreciative of what he's done in the past? Yes he has been good in the past, but he's been plodding around for a good 2 years now. 76259 and where did i name YOU? I had hardly read any of the posts on this thread tbh, my remark was merely pre-empting the odd derogatory posts im sure would be made about my thoughts on shearer! I thought i'd get it in first
-
And THAT'S the lot of you told then! Best post EVER! FACT! 76256 LOL cheers mags ( well i think im finally used to this lot on here now, always so scornful with the 'im gonna be cooler and more laid back than you' posts, so fuck em all, i adore shearer and dont mind saying so) !!!!!!!!!
-
well if i had the chance, i'd say to Shearer... Thanks for the memories, the goals, your loyality, your determination, your true professionalism and undoubted devotion over the years. You are my absolute hero and you will be missed. And i dont give a shit what any of you lot of short memoried, jaded, fuckers say to that either!!

Well im glad we're through, i never want us beat even if it would mean GS would finally be told to bugger off! From the very limited highlights ive seen, looked like Mansfield did well....but thankfully not as well as the MIGHTY TORQUAY UTD yesterday....we gave the brummies such a battering, especially 2nd half. They are very very lucky to still be in it! Nicky Butt??? our players ran rings around him -
Dear god, that was cringe TV at its finest
-
oh sorry missed that jimbo.
-
have you looked at the high scores list? Thats just not possible!!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/wales/4579802.stm Honestly i thought i'd heard it all, but god, this really makes me feel sick to my stomach.

Agreed

I'm in agreement, but just to play devils advocate a minute...... Surely they're celebs because they're famous? Surely it's the people who watch this shite that turn them into celebs? 74406 I can see where your're coming from Gol. but i suppose it depends on what you think of as a 'celebrity' I suppose some of these people are recognisible to the general public! But i wouldnt say they were famous, surely a famous person is someone like George Bush or David Beckham, they are known all over the world. Alot of the 'celebs' that were on the last series of jungle, were unknown to me! Maybe im old fashoined, but to me a real celebrity was someone like Marilyn Monroe or Frank sinatra who everyone recognised....or even Madonna nowadays. Now it seems if you've flashed your arse or tits in a tabloid newspaper, slept with a well known footballer or taken drugs and generally behaved like a complete cock your're a celeb!!! 74433 Which of the celebs in the jungle hadn't you heard of then? 74451 i cant tell you Gol, cos i hadnt heard of them and didnt know them then and i dont now I knew some of them, i think its the ones from various soaps i didnt know. I hate the fact they had very little, if any, talent to start with, which often their current lack of work suggests, so they snatch at this chance of the limelight again, so we know theyre only there cos theyre desperate!! I hate to give these washed up, forgotten people another chance

well i think its disgusting he's been asked to appear on the show and an even bigger disgrace he's accepted. Does he get paid for this? How anyone can call these people 'celebs' is beyond me

Glad you didnt mean me though im hardly new....

How about Dennis Norden(sp) ? Last time i watched him clutching that clipboard he looked really quite frail. Look at this, poor ole clive dunn has been on every year!! http://www.deathlist.net/?y=2006

I think we would have a very good chance of attracting allardyce or curbishley in january. both touted as svens successors, both doing the business with squads 3 times shitter than ours over a number of seaons. Both whos agents are stirring for a bigger club or the england job. 72715 Well that's got my pulse racing 72756 To be fair though i would accept anybody else in charge of the team for the time being rather than the fuckwit that is in charge just now.. 72757 That's exactly what Leazesmag means by our expectations being lowered. Neither "should" be good enough for this club. 72759 So who is good enough? Seeing as people seem to know for a fact that we are "far to big a club" to see such people at the club? 72761 Only one man is good enough imo and thats Martin O'Neil.
