Utterly in the latter parts of the thread, not just taken to the dry cleaners actually gagged and pushed in to one of the washers. Set on a hot and long cycle.
-
Stevie if you have a recruitment background and 5 or 6 clients you get on with it's a license to print money. Go for it.

Are they mainly Catholics, can't remember?
-
Danny completely and utterly taken to the cleaners in this thread.

'Diet Fop'. Like the old Fop but not so sweet.

Only start a business if you have a client/clients first.

...and you're not even out of first gear are you darling?

...and a complete waste of fucking money. Just get MI5 to pay attention next time they meet their informers for a coffee, unlike last time....

I love going through other poeples work and hate looking at my own. But yes, the creative really wants to get everything in.

The gun shop scene is very well written you might think about starting there, as it sets up questions in the readers mind. Imagine the power of going from the gun shop scene to the (as is) first scene where he trying to get that girl back for a serious talk!! Just a thought. It's a matter of style, but I'd start there before you lay out your stall of answers....But I don't really like answers till after the middle (keeps things cooking). Erm, Parky mate, you might want to consider leaving this to PM since none of us has access to this manuscript! It makes for nice thread. I will PM him other things.

Just incredible shoddy legislation like most of the legislation New Labour has brought in, what it should and should not be used for should have been tied down initially. What always worries me with legislation like this is when unindented effects are liked by the Government (e.g. DNA database) and then built upon in ways that they'd never have got through Parliament IF they'd been proposed for that reason in the first place. Don't they employ analysts/legals to show how to get stealth legislation through?

So you're contradicting your earlier views about the BNP then. Thanks for clarifying. Who then should make the decision who should be allowed to speak and who shouldn't? The law courts? The government? The Intelligence agencies? The media? What you're suggesting is contrary to any notion of living in a free country, you'd be better suited living in China tbh. Case closed.

Where is your hooker documentary set in Hamburg anyways? "I heard he hit a prostitute" They are quite camera shy.

Where is your hooker documentary set in Hamburg anyways? Funding issues. Everyone is suddenly short of cash. Also been sidetracked by the local film fund who asked for proposal (has to be in next week). Thought I'd just nick Cid mcp's idea.

Wanting entrance of subsidiary character by ch 4....

Wonder what the next tranche of oops all the money has dissapeared will bring.

It's true that a couple of smashed windows and a new paint job are things that an awful lot of people would wish were their only problems in the situation that has been caused by the banks and politicians. Especially those like Goodwin that have not only walked away with a big smug grin on their face (and a positively explosive wallet), but also with a conviction that they did "nothing wrong".
-
Cid, Thanks, started reading it this morning. 5 pages in. Why is it so dialogue heavy (so far)? What is the city like? What is the mood? Seems little scene setting or internal (thoughts) of our hero (first person screams for it). Need to take him sideways (too plot driven in parts). Wanted to carry on reading...Which is a good sign.

if I was already loaded and was responsible for a lot of angry people losing their jobs, I would A bit harsh to suggest it was former employees of his fiefdom. That is unless you are presuming that we can pin an inevitable correction in a totally overstreched economy on the actions of a few people. Goodwin and his empire building are in the past and the longer people yearn for some figurative retribution, the longer we'll miss the opportunity to look at the challenges ahead. Goodwin pressing ahead with the ABN Amro deal did not bring down the UK economy- yet it seems to be as if it did. Let's not forget that Teflon Gordon is more than happy to keep the press fed about the evils done by "the City" under a regulatory system that he not only created, but boasted about around the world. Yet now he's off to the states telling people how it should be done. Bit of an about-face, that. This sort of action only helps the sort of yobs who will be 'protesting' against the G20 next week as they wreak a general trail of havoc and interrupt the lives of thousands of workers so we can listen to the same message that has been relayed countless times in the past, only to be forgotten on Monday as we struggle to find glaziers who wil repair this damage out of the goodness of their own hearts. "Yobs"... How about if I say his generic typeage. The workers as per sit back and get pumped (without lubricant) generation after generation. If the Govt won't act I don't blame people (some of whom have lost everything) being angry. "Workers"... "Lenin".

How many bank directors and senior execs are going to be fined or go to prison? None. They will be tucked up with another cushty number within months.

How many people have you done it with?
Park Life replied to Sir Bob Almighty!'s topic in General Chat
Don't speak with your mouth full! ok then, I'll let SMO out and you can pop your toothpick back in and we'll have a full conversation! Girth is my forte. Yeah but we're talking about your cock not your belly matey. and yes I have, when I was much younger. No need to be ashamed of it, I'm firmly of the belief how do you know you don't like it til you've tried it. It was just sex, couldn't be in a relationship with a woman tho, we're too complicated, I prefer the simplicity of a man and the macho-ness of the arms I cuddle upto on a night time. Easier to con? -
Sick.

Weren't you defending the right of the BNP to have freedom of speech but advocating Canada banning Galloway btw? ....in a mixed up schoolkid kinda way.

In America the AIG execs have round the clock protection. This level of cunt has been stealing from us for generations.
