  1. I've already had to do my mirror-deep breathing thing.
  2. This is unbearable. Mrs P is doing her laughing a lot thing. Is killing such a bad thing...really?
  3. My tantrums aren't pretty. You make some good points however, but I musn't look taken it by it....
  4. This is really fucking weird stuff.
  5. Seems to have perpetual fucking grin on his face... I'm going to level 2.
  6. He's just come round again. Brought some wine over to thank us for last night. I thought there might be another level...But this is ridiculous. I'm going in the kitchen to have a look....
  7. You guys are getting a bit picky now.
  8. Ok, paying for players upfront consolidates/simplifies the books for a sale as do getting the operating costs down. I can understand that, but going into voluntary admin makes no business sense for MA alone, unless there is a cash call from someplace else (bank??).
  9. I know nowt about how it works, so these are genuine questions, for someone who knows more to answer. In his last 2 years at the club, Shepherd spent £65M. Most of it to foreign clubs. Do the above FA rules or similar apply? If it was all spread over (say) 5 years, we might be about half way through on avarage so it could be as much as £30M still to pay (total finger in the air stuff). If there are rules like the above that cover UEFA, it's not a consideration, but if there aren't, writing off that debt would be a huge incentive for administration. Then there's player contracts. Can they be terminated under administration? Barton 2012 Duff 2011 Smith 2012 Geremi 2010 Those four will have cost the best part of £15m in wages by the time their contracts run down. No club would match those wages or pay a significant fee, not to mention Butt, Ameobi or Xisco. Question is why doesn't MA just pay those debts? His Paper worth is roughly £800m ish even in the current market. I assume we're not paying any interest on those debts, therefore it wouldn't make sense to may them now, unless we got a discount for it. But if (if we follow HP's jist) these are causing cash flow issues, it makes sense to pay them up (at a guess).

  11. Plus those stories last month that he was dipping into his pocket for running costs every month. **I don't want to think about this anymore.
  12. The real tragedy is that it was a few months ago all very fixable.
  13. I seriously doubt he has the willpower to destroy us.
  14. Aye. Jacob won't allow it. It is still the temple (smoke monster) v the machines (electromagnetism) for me. Yes perhaps on another level they are connected.
  15. That would be typical, Parky getting the girl AND the boy. That's the advantage of being bi-sexual. Lucky bstard. Afternoon dear.
  16. What can I say, he seemed alright. But I realise now that this is just the beginning... He played a bit of poker and wants to join or little poker group (so either he's supremely confident or totally harmless). As Danny B said earlier it would be foolish (girls aren't like us) to have him over like that. I watched him closely all night and overbid a few junk hands to give him confidence. He is bad at eye contact (seems to by shy), he never spoke to me first, sticking to re-joinders. I don't honestly think he has the guile to come over like that if he is making moves on Mrs P. We will see.... Might I aver that eye contact in a poker game is probably not the best means of judging someone's true intentions. Ok, my reading is that he is the quiet nutter type. Who probably doesn't really know what his next move/his real motivations are. So on a level playing field he will never outthink me in the sociopath leagues. :icon_lol:

  18. If it's anything remotely like the above, the axe will be my choice.
  19. It's probably nothing, but I feel tense for some reason....
  20. Good idea. I was planning to be really friendly to start with. FWIW he's Croatian.
