The cd'd I'm burning tend to have 'washout' at the high end. Perhaps the quality wasn't there to start with? Were the MP3's / AAC's ripped from a CD or downloaded? Downloaded at vairable rates from 172 upto 220 kbts...

So I take the things from itunes and drag and drop them onto a stick and them burn in media player on the laptop....This has been getting the best results...In itunes there is something called aa4 format or summink is this better.
