  1. No. Only authoritaaee should be respected.
  2. Seriously though at that age there is so much scope for mischief. I would have shot him in the face as he put his head in the window and then claimed confusion.
  3. Yup Labour are thinking about bringing that in next year, mouthing off to "authority" will result in a mandatory death sentence. An about time too! Questioning authority will only result in a 20 year jail term though.
  4. Another day in America. It was Texas though why didn't she shoot as he put his head in the window??
  5. He paid £3 million for Graeme fucking Souness Arsenal spend 30m on their youth/reserve side. So? **Risky me mentioning them I know.
  6. I would have thought (call me mad) that FS of all people would understand the hidden structures and tolerances of football finance.
  7. Again, based on what? Based on the fact that the Profitable Group look like muppets trying to enhance their profile at our expense. And Shepherd? IF Shearer comes with him and is talking to him, I'd give him another go.

  9. And if his backers don't have the money to spend? We know fuck all about the Profitable Group's resources and intentions. We know fuck all about any potential bidders' resources and intentions. To say that you'd prefer Shepherd's bid to another is based on fuck all. Abso-bloody-exactly! Has nobody learned anything from the jubilation when Ashley took over. I've learned to be as dubious and about ANY buyer as I'd be about my daughters new boyfriend. He could be nice as pie, he's still going to get the stink-eye from me until he's put a ring on her finger. Between these two I'd rather have SS. The ex-husband who slapped her about, but at least you could talk football with him. I see where you're coming from.

  11. What if the profitable group want to employ Shepherd to run the gaff? They've got little money and I'm pretty sure can't really buy the club or take it forward.
  12. There are strict rules about budgets in the Bundesliga which has to be ratified before the season starts.
  13. That is a serious amount of wonga. It will be interesting who gets his marketing rights.
  14. If it's a choice between FFS's Backpocket Group and the Profitable Group.... I think they sure just nuke the club now - quick and painless. With AS on board I think he will be more tempered this time.
  15. It's a cycle of violence and as usual it is propped up by money and economic sensitivities. The massive U.S. aid (yes you've guessed it) is primarily used to by U.S. weapons therefore keeping people in jobs back in the U.S.
  16. Get tooled up mate. http://www.sausagemaking.org/acatalog/mincers.html I'm British. I would much rather complain about the lack of decent sausages than make them myself. Apparently there's a decent sausage shop near where I live that's the shizzle. Run by........a Gorman! Wunderbar! Should be a sausage master.
  17. Aw that takes me back. Wait untill you have been together 28 years, We just about remembered our 25 wedding anniversary last year! Back to food, today I'm going to a picturesque oldey worldey village in Torquay called Cockington to have a cream tea. Tea tonight will be a slow cooked pork meal...diced pork, chopped tomatoes, red peppers, red onion, stock, mixed herbs left to marinade this morning and cooked slowly in the oven served with brocoli and mashed pots. Get a bit of red wine in there and some white garlic balsamic ffs...
  18. There is certainly summat wrong with the timelines.
  19. I will go on record to say that the Profitable Group look like a bunch of cunts.
  20. That vocal minority werent even that before SSN turned up, they were just a handful of the usual half pissed half stoned charvers who thought they could get on telly. SSN come along and next thing you know theyve thrust a banner in their hands and orchestrated them to chant when the camera rolls. FFS they even had to be told what to shout. SSN are the reason this club is seen in the poor light it is, the fact our stadium is in the city centre doesnt help either, if we'd been stuck out on some wasteground like Bolton or on the edge of a cesspit river like the Riverside then nobody would have been around to make their mouths go. EDIT: oh and the quote that was given to me today about this Singapore lot is "muppets, total and utter muppets". I think snakehips hit the nail on the head, they've seen a chance to get some exposure and have taken it. Looks like they are cashing in on a bit of profiling.
  21. Alan Shearer meets Freddy Shepherd as the former chairman plots return • Ashley's predecessor has to prove he has the required £100m • Shearer promised manager's job should takeover succeed Simon Williams guardian.co.uk, Wednesday 10 June 2009 22.00 BST Article history The former chairman wants to regain the position he was forced to leave after the Hall family sold its majority stake in Newcastle in 2007. Photograph: John Walton/Empics Alan Shearer has met Freddy Shepherd to discuss what will happen should the former Newcastle United chairman succeed in buying the club back from Mike Ashley. Shepherd has been desperate to regain control at St James' Park ever since he was ousted by Ashley when the sports retailer secretly purchased Sir John Hall's majority shareholding two years ago. And his interest is serious enough for Shearer to have met him this week should he declare an intention to buy the club. Several groups are in talks with the man in charge of the sale, the chairman of Seymour Pierce, Keith Harris, and Shepherd's is one of them. In common with most of the prospective buyers – reports have also claimed interest from Oman and South Africa – Shepherd has guaranteed Shearer will be named manager as soon as a takeover is complete. That would suit Shearer, although he has not given up hope he will be appointed by Ashley before the sale has been completed so that he can start to plan for life in the Championship. This is where my money is.
