What is the Nasa budget these days anyway? If we compare it to the 50's and 60's the equivalent in today's money would be approaching $500 billion dollars. You see you only have to look at what is visible and none of it makes sense.

The most improbable thing will happen, it's the way this club is.

Because NUFC have never been made to look stupid before have they? Of course they have have. However that would be on another level altogether imo. What if he kept coming back?

Ideally in a beach bar in Hawaii.

Khomeni here and say that.

Well said. I think either could be great under the right circumstances.

Yeah but we're in the realm of Jedi rules.

The 0-0 at Man U shows he still has it. The man is a genius and has a good football heart. The 1-1 draw was canny too.... One match, a draw at that, is enough to convince you? Typical Parky. What about the following drab 1-0 win scraping win at home to Bolton and his last game, a 3-0 defeat at Arsenal? I wasn't convinced. Imo Keegan's love of football is not what it was, I'd prefer a fresh change be that Shearer or someone else. Can anyone name an example of a manager exceeding himself on returning to a club, especially after a gap of 12 years (I'm not going to count his last stint because it was impossible to judge imo)? I doubt it. Yeah cause that is all he's done in the game. Like I said that. To remind you: Not for me it didn't. And as pointed out, you even got the result wrong! I got the score wrong not the result. Like everyone else I wish we'd had a chance to judge Keegan over a full season but cunt face scuppered that. I'd like Shearer to get a full season now though, I'll keep my Keegan memories from his first time in charge. I would be amazed if Keegan ever managed us again btw and highly surprised if Shearer didn't at some point, so I'm being pragmatic too. IF the Dubai based Iranian buys the club he will bring KK back. :)

But I reckon the circumstance will be sufficiently different if and when Shearer takes over. He won't come back under Ashley and to be fair, who the fuck would? going back to Keegan would Jumping the Shark in the worst possible way imo We are what we are bro. Better to go with the heart than think oneself into a headache. Parky©

I have grave and unwieldy doubts about AS as a manager at this time. The circumstances need to be different for him to succeed IMO.

Pure unadulterated excitement for the next few seasons then.

Worse things to come. A few seasons in the Championship and we'll be perfectly placed to win League 1. A Championship assault with a squad of 5 midfielders 5 defenders and 1 goalkeeper. (genuinely can see Assley doing that) PL games bore me anyway.
