Imo Keegan's love of football is not what it was, I'd prefer a fresh change be that Shearer or someone else. Can anyone name an example of a manager exceeding himself on returning to a club, especially after a gap of 12 years (I'm not going to count his last stint because it was impossible to judge imo)? But I reckon the circumstance will be sufficiently different if and when Shearer takes over. He won't come back under Ashley and to be fair, who the fuck would? going back to Keegan would Jumping the Shark in the worst possible way imo We are what we are bro. I have grave and unwieldy doubts about AS as a manager at this time. The circumstances need to be different for him to succeed IMO.
