America is heading for a private inland army. There is literally billions in it for private logistics firms, this is what this is all really about.

Aye we had a decent start 3 games in last season, before the Assley effect had time to kick in. Admittedly we're doing better than expected, and that may well be down to the quality of the league, or just plain luck. But we've still got the problem of a very small squad, potential to lose more players, and we still might have more Assley madness. The other thing is that there are teams that do "storm" the Championship, then go straight back down in disastrous fashion. On the upside we've already played two of the stronger CCC sides and survived. -
Pretty much agree with that.

"When I saw Inglourious Basterds at Cannes, my traumatised complaint was that it fails as conventional war movie, as genre spoof, as trash and as pulp." It's shit but not even as good as Tarantino shit. Save your money.

Nobody is going to disagree that we need a striker capable of scoring 20 goals a season. Xisco is not really the man for that. I'm only really going off what Deportivo fans were saying about him during his time there, but he seems like a player who plays a bit with his back to goal, who can operate as a lone striker. To effecively perform in a role like that you need to gel with the other players in the side, something that's not possible if you're not playing in first string games. What the hell, lets just continue to let him rot and pick up wages on our bench with occassional reserve team runs. Sure it means his value will decrease faster than a Coloccini, but I just can't see him cracking a spot in the first team ahead of our imaginary 20 goals a season striker. ...and for the sake of anyone who missed my point (thankfully seems to be the minority) I was essentially wondering why he was bought (for so much money) if he's not going to be played. I rarely believe transfer fees, we might not have paid much upfront for him at all.
