Will be lively in the CCC from what I've seen so far the defences look static and panicky.
-
I have: Fungshwela Ranger Carroll If Ranger had one more season in him, he'd be the best of these three.
-
You must have been impressed by Rangers calmness and vision and ability to hold onto the ball with two or three around him?
-
When Guthrie hits them they stay hit.

No and Lucas Neill is still a free agent. Actually so is Maniche and Cacapa hasn't found a club yet Complete lists for Ashley to work from. http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zo...ove-this-summer http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zo...ove-this-summer http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zo...ove-this-summer I would take Givet and Pennant out of that lot.

I believe this to be true. -
Decent toe poke at goal though. Maybe, just maybe he'll actually want to start playing football again? Must make a diference having the teams doing well, winning games crowd getting behind them etc, etc. + Although he still did look he didn't look half as as he did playing in the premiership. I guess what I'm getting at is that this league has an awful lot of Hopefull strictly bit part this year.

Steady.

Has to be said we've looked pretty comfortable against these. If we get the 3 or so we need, there is no reason not to look forward to the season.
-
It's the out of form teams that normally do the damage to them But aye, from what I've seen so far the quality that was shite in the prem is looking settled in the Championship Thinking about it, we've dealt with Leicester who are a good side, starting Geremi and Ranger, as well as an out of position CD.

Seems to be a gulf in class between the CCC and the Pl, although they put a few things together, mainly through the big man, we looked pretty comfortable dealing with one of the 'in form' sides. Nolan could easily have had a second after a good spell of pressure and inter-passing from us. Guthrie looks very casual on the ball with two good feet and was only outdone by the more relaxed and in control Ranger...Was it really his full match debut??! Couple of times I thought he might take a hit, but laid of good balls for oncoming midfielders with presence of mind Shola would give his right arm for. Early days, but this league looks winnable. MOM Guthrie YMOM Ranger.

Luque having a good game.

Skysports.com understands Newcastle youngster Fabio Zamblera looks set for a move back to Italy with Roma. Newcastle signed highly-rated Zamblera from Atalanta in January 2008 in a move that infuriated the Italian outfit. The 19-year-old has failed to establish himself at Newcastle since his arrival on Tyneside and has not made an appearance in the first-team. Newcastle are willing to let him leave as he does not figure in their long-term plans and Roma are ready to offer him an escape route from St James' Park. Roma are expected to tie up a deal for the big striker before the transfer window closes on Tuesday.
