  1. Americans must be one of the most misinformed people on the planet after North Korea.
  2. His last-minute Olympic sprint to Chicago may have come to nothing, the Afghan quagmire may be bubbling away and Sarah Palin may be topping the bestseller list, but Barack Obama can at least take comfort from the fact that Britain's most upmarket supermarket chain is on his side. Waitrose, which prides itself more on its "quality food, honestly priced" than staring down rightwing attack dogs, has become the latest firm to pull its ads from Fox News after presenter Glenn Beck's remarks about the US president. In July, Beck called Obama "a racist" with "a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture" after the president said that police in Cambridge, Massachusetts, had "acted stupidly" in arresting the distinguished professor Henry Louis Gates as he entered his own home. Beck's outburst prompted dozens of companies – among them Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Travelocity – to withdraw their adverts from his show for fear that their businesses might become tainted by association. Now Waitrose, which advertises on the channel carried by Sky in Britain, has followed suit after customers complained about the Glenn Beck Show. An angry Waitrose shopper who emailed the chain to express his distaste over its decision "to be associated with this particular form of rightwing cant" received an apology last week. Obama has been snubbing Fox recently at press briefings. Would be nice if he found a way to hurt Fox.
  3. Moat has no money and there aren't any buyers for the club.
  4. Why the fuck's he waiting until 11? "I know EVERYTHING!! Now debate my validity among yourselves for a couple of hours while I masturbate into a sock!"
  5. Israel has more nukes than UK and France combined.
  6. Can't believe it was even in question.
  7. As I maintained through the dark days KK would be vindicated and by thel looks of that statement he has. Ashley and Co. are cunts end of. Utube clips ffs!!!
  8. Israel has a lot of nukes and Iran want to get one or two....
  9. Why don't any of the papers question Moat's ability to buy the club? He really has very little money.
  10. Another one of those books I could never finish.
  11. You've been radicalised by your mates in the taxi queue I reckon. A serious Muslim superpower may make the west and Israel pause for thought rather than rushing in. This is why there is a rush to judgement over Iran. The west doesn't want balance. Who does? certainly not regimes which actively and violently crush nay-sayers within their own country. You shouldn't talk about England like that.
  12. This is what irks me most about these islamic states. It's like we're going back to medievel times of the crusades/Moors etc. If we're going to have a fight let's make it over something tangible like oil. I'm looking forward to the soil wars of Waterworld It was a "secular" state that declared their war to be a crusade though.... "This is a new kind of, a new kind of evil. And the American people are beginning to understand. This crusade, this war on terrorism, is going to take a while. And American people must be patient. " Bush - Sept. 16, 2001 War is peace, fear is knowledge, work is freedom etc...........
  13. Ideally there will be no region left to destabalise after the Iran nuke launches in 2011...

  15. News to me.... Last thing I read on the matter was that the outgoing whites were worried that the blacks couldn't be trusted with them. Don't think they got rid of them. Could be wrong.
  16. There might be an opening for a Moderator at the site......
  17. So are you saying that Israel doesn't have nuclear weapons then? Er..... Chris the Natural Resources Defence Council is an eco-pressure group and the Federation of American Scientists estimates them having 80 (although quite what they base that on is unclear). But given that no one really knows surely we should assume they have none until it is proven otherwise? Since you seem to be gripping this bone with all your might, can you tell me why their estimate should be dismissed? As a non-profit, non-partisan, international group they've had several studies printed in the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. If you choose to dismiss it fine, do you not believe the Federation of American Scientists either? Because it is , why else? Ok lets not believe intelligence agencies, they certainly can be wrong. But then why believe an eco-pressure group that has no more inside information on nuclear proliferation than The Brownies have about Israel having "200+" nuclear weapons? And as Fop said even the FAS (which suggest they may have ~80) shows nothing at all to back up that statement, other than the statement itself. It's your own fault Chris, check your sources before you post em, if you don't want to be ridiculed for them. If you place as much stock in the Brownies as you do the NRDC (which has been going for 40 years and published several studies on worldwide nuclear stockpiles), that's your choice. If you believe the Brownies talk as much sense as FAS (65 years researching Nuclear programs and endorsed by 84 Nobel laureates) then you're free to get your info from wherever you wish. You don't have to believe either of them. Or Mohamed ElBaradei (president of the IAEA, the man claiming Iran have broke the rules) who says Israel have them and undermine the whole thing. If you think all it's all bollocks, it only serves to shine a light on your blinkered view. Not that I think for a second you actually believe Israel don't have nukes. It just serves your preposterous stance that Israel don't need to sign up to the NPT because they haven't been proven to have any. That they should continue their own policy of "nuclear ambiguity" while insisting on Iranian transparency. NRDC is an eco-pressure group...... are they really going to have a pro-nuclear stance? (what do they think about Iran getting nuclear technology by the way? ). But where are they getting their evidence from? The Girl Guides have been going for 100 years, does that mean thier information on nuclear proliferation is even more accurate than the NRDC? The FAS is probably more realistic (and reliable - stating ~80 to the NRDCs 200+!!!! ), but again their estimate seems to be base upon.... nothing too. You may as well believe some nutty pressure group that claims Iran have another 3 enrichment facilities being built, it's all just as much baseless guess work by people with agendas. Mind you Chris, Fop was surprised to see you on the side of the Brownies for once. I don't ever read about the South African nuclear arsenal....strange. Just shows there is more talk of a country with no nuclear capability (maybe enough to make one bomb if in a panic) than there is of a country that has had nukes for 30 years.
  18. See, that's my worry. You have Iran as your enemy, it's not just State Vs State, Soldier vs Soldier; their Javeed Public will also get involved. I'd be expecting suicide attacks from radicals sneaking into this country and also from ex-pats already here. It's a fear I'm quite happy to admit is fuelled by images of moderate Iranians being beaten by their police, tales of their "Moral Police", images of young Iranians burning anything they can get their hands on, in hateful protest against the west and it's while all being run through a western media filter I don't believe it's all fabricated or exaggerated I don't think it's fabricated, I can understand it though. When you have the level of hypocrisy whereby Obama, flanked by Brown can say Iran "is breaking rules that all nations must follow" while continuing to torture detainees to death. And Iran shooting people for protesting against a completely rigged election is "ok"? Not sure where you get that impression. So is Iran a worse regime than the USA? Based on that one criteria? That's a question that invites a 5000 word essay. Iran have rigged elections...The US have rigged elections Iran torture...the US torture Iran kill their own citizens for protesting....the US kill their own citizens for protesting The US bomb and kill hundreds of thousands of other countries civilians...Iran don't Iran have the death penalty...the US have the death penalty Iran's religious zealots kill a LOT of people....the US religious zealots kill some people Iran treat women disgracefully...women are almost equal in America etc... So you are saying you think that the USA is as bad (or worse) as Iran? Israel is worse than both. Jewish comedy is decent mind.
  19. The Scout Association can't be wrong about Israel's nuclear capability can it Chris? Soon you'll be saying eco-pressure groups can be wrong about Israel's nuclear capability. If you're going to try and joke your way out of a hole it helps if the jokes are funny. Why is Iran's transparency over it's nuclear program of greater concern to you than Israels secrecy around it's own and it's refusal to comply with any UN resolutions on the matter? Given that Israel, by it's actions as opposed to rhetoric, have shown themselves to be a far more dangerous player in the middle east. Also given the fact that Israel has no real economy bar arms manufacturing - is woefully short of fresh water and completely reliant on U.S. foreign aid, it is for me a country heading steadily toward disaster.
  20. Israel have more nukes than France and the UK combined.
