What most people who don't fully understand the arguments will see or want to see, is an arrogant muslim woman descending to his level, by avoiding questions she's uncomfortable answering, by answering the point with an attack on their policies. Plus the first past the post system will always work against the BNP thankfully. As I've said before that was a truely awful performance by Griffin and the man simply cannot escape his past. The report where he said in public that he'd appear moderate to the British electorate in order to get in, and once elected implement his extreme and hateful policies (as well as controlling the media), was particularly reprehensible. I think the BNP will always be a fringe protest group at best. You forget parties hardly ever implement more than a small percentage of their manifesto. There are seats in East London, Birmingham and Bradford/Leeds the BNP could win if they dropped race from the manifesto and ran on immigration imo. If as others are saying in this thread one of the things holding them back is NG, well what if someone truly skilled comes out of the woodwork? So basically if it becomes a different party with a different leader they may win some seats? Maybe.
