  1. You always say that in every thread. I'm discussing it here with a few people because I've got a child and have been through these issues. The knowledge base about vaccinations now is in the public domain like never before so it is discussed more. Unfortunately NOBODY can give the correct ans regarding a bad vaccine episode...Which can devestate a child and family for life.
  2. I don't see how twice as many nurses being in favour of the vaccine than are against it is any kind of illuminating evidence in opposition to it. Well because the pressure on direct patient care staff to get vaccinated is immense. Do you see?
  3. Half the GP's who bang on about giving it to their kids don't have kids.
  4. Earth-shattering stuff that like. It is.
  5. From that article: "A survey by the magazine Nursing Times found a third of nurses would refuse the vaccine. That presumably reflects their perception that it is not a very serious illness. "This raises a fundamental issue about vaccination. For an individual parent the risk of swine flu to their child is low, so the benefit from vaccination is low. But if you have a virus that affects 30 per cent of the population then a lot of people will fall ill and a lot will die and the best way to prevent that is to have all the population vaccinated. Or for the full part: I wasn't trying to pull a fast one, just showing that nurses think about these things as well (they don't all queue up for vaccinations as is the common perception). Doctors aren't allowed to say anything against vaccinations btw so there won't be anything thought provoking there.

  7. Cheers will give that a watch later.
  8. It's a tricky one, but I personally wouldn't do it. I can't remember, but is it a live vaccine or a dead one?? It's not a live vaccine. I've rang and postponed it until I've read and thought a bit more. I thought I had it straight in my head but that fact I keep thinking about makes me wonder if I should do the same. Will talk about with the Mrs tonight I think. THe question I keep asking myself is "is the risk of him getting it and being one of the few who become seriously ill with it greather than the risk of the jab being another Thalidamide?" Talking myself round in circles. ParkyJnr has only ever had Tetanus and HepB (which they give automatically at birth and which I agree with). The last big hoo ha was over the Measales epidemic in Germany (2 yrs ago) and the rush to give that one in schools. ParkyJnr didn't get that, but it was 2 weeks of arguing before I got my way. Thinking about it is the sanest way, but I will say that side effects from vaccinations is small and general risk is also small.....But I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something went wrong (and it does sometimes).
  9. Catmag, From the discussions I had with the doc a couple of years ago, the non-live variety are safer. Chez will know more than me on this.

I've rang and postponed it until I've read and thought a bit more. Good that you have done. Whatever you decide I hope all goes well. The arguments me and Mrs P had over vaccinations were of biblical proportions.
  11. The new wave actually have American Jews amongst them who are taking up settler status cause they want to live in the 'holy land'. Palestinian families who were given the land by the UN are being evicted steadily and cleverly by forcible eviction, cash enticements (American money from NY Jews etc)...It's basically ethnic cleansing.
  12. Vaccines are one of the reasons we live longer nowadays. You have to test them on someone though. Claiming that vaccines cause long term damage is a perilous occupation, it ruined the career Dr Wakefield if you remember that? Is it a live vaccine Chez..The new pig one?
  13. Giving vaccines to children is dangerous and that is a fact. Why else would they be doing ongoing testing of new vaccienes on test groups of children in the U.S.?
  14. Clinton slams Israel for evicting Arab families from East Jerusalem By Natasha Mozgovaya and Barak Ravid, Haaretz Correspondents and The Associated Press Tags: Jordan, Hillary Clinton U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Monday criticized Israel for the eviction two Palestinian families from an Arab neighborhood in east Jerusalem, calling the move "deeply regrettable". "The eviction of families and demolition of homes in east Jerusalem is not in keeping with Israeli obligations and I urge the government of Israel and municipal officials to refrain from such provocative actions," Clinton said. The evictions came after the Supreme Court ruled that the houses belonged to Jews and that the Arab families had been living there illegally. Advertisement Clinton's statements came during a meeting in Washington with Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh, who told Clinton that incremental confidence-building measures that the U.S. wants Arab states to take will not produce a resolution to the conflict. Assistant Secretary of State, Philip J. Crowley, also indicated in a that the Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren was summoned following the eviction, adding that "acting Assistant Secretary Jeffrey Feltman had a conversation with the Israeli ambassador. He expressed our concerns, and he promised to report those concerns back to the Israeli Government." Vid http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00pz...lk_in_the_Park/
  15. I was saying on NO how much more effective he is than Jonas.
  16. So in effect, the authorities will vaccinate millions of children in order to try and prevent 100 deaths. If the mass vaccination program mirrors the previous swine flu outbreak of 1976 then the vaccine is likely to kill more people than the actual virus. Furthermore, since the swine flu vaccine includes squalene, a dangerous adjuvant that contributed to Gulf War Syndrome cases, there’s little doubt that it will lead to debilitating lifelong diseases far more deadly than the swine flu virus itself for thousands of children if a mass vaccination campaign is conducted. According to Meryl Nass, M.D., “A novel feature of the two H1N1 vaccines being developed by companies Novartis and GlaxoSmithKline is the addition of squalene-containing adjuvants to boost immunogenicity and dramatically reduce the amount of viral antigen needed. This translates to much faster production of desired vaccine quantities.” “Research shows that squalene is the experimental anthrax vaccine ingredient that caused devastating autoimmune diseases and deaths for many Gulf War veterans from the US, UK, and Australia, yet it continues in use today and for new vaccines development in labs,”
  17. Should be re-named "Full English". Canny few Russians there now as well. Canny bit more money and even less taste than the Brits and Irish living there already. You could probably sell them a few interiors
  18. It's a tricky one, but I personally wouldn't do it. I can't remember, but is it a live vaccine or a dead one??
  19. It doesn't work like that.
  20. Should be re-named "Full English".
  21. Best move to the costa del sol where you won't be forced to integrate. Aye but we're welcomed by the majority there for enhancing their income and quality of life. If I was in a hut in Karachi now, witha big fuckin beard sat smoking a big sheesh pipe (spelling) and I had a choice between moving to say Telford, Istanbul, Riyadh why the fuck would I choose Telford if I had no intention of immersing myself in the culture? Least you can get the prayer mat out and class women as second class citizens in them other places. Why would I want to move to a place where infidels sin by drinking till they're pissed every weekend, people are doing drugs, eating bacon sandwiches and women have the audacity to walk the streets without veils? Why would Britain be my choice of destination, tell me. The next wave of illegal immigration will be Africans, a million of which having got to Libya (by walking across half of Africa) are already hitting Spain and Italy in the droves. All speak english and nearly all say their final target is England.
  22. There was a black chap at the Lewisham roundabout today holding a "God is great" placard while disturbing the traffic and urging repentance on the part of local sinners. He seemed particularly keen on shouting his gospel at the Muslims passing by. I'm still a little confused as to what to make of it all, but your mention of "humour" makes me wonder whether that's exactly what immigration has helped us realise - that boring old CofE is nothing compared with the version of Christianity where you get the songs, the beats and the insanity on your side. Yes we all need more monkey magic.
  23. You're cleary lacking in Life experience, or brainwashed, or a pinko commie bastard, or........ The Halls & Shepherds were the best thing since humans developed speech. [sarcmark]
