That's exactly what he's saying from what I can make out. Language is the essence of thought and civilization and once you start ring fencing it you suffocate critical and imaginative thinking. It seems a bit odd to me that there is this much fuss about what is effectively 0.003% of the population. Of course there is a case to be made about people who have and want to be gender reassigned and want to be respected for 'who they are' etc...But reading that in some prisons the state has paid for gender reassignment seems a bit odd and frankly far fetched.
