Ghost in the Shell. It could have been good but fails in some obvious ways, especially the first half. Weirdly it takes off in the second half (just as I was thinking of nodding off) and I started feeling emotionally connected. There's a lot of highy stylised set pieces and in amongst all that she is looking for her past/ghost etc...(Handled clumsily). Blind Samurai is the best thing in it and his scenes give the film much needed ballast and gravitas as it threatens to spin off into video game territory. All in all quite hollow and lacking in ideas - all the ideas are in the style rather than the plot or characters. 6.6/10 To flesh out this kind of character you can give them somewhere to live (not just popping in and out the lab)...And in this microcosm little character traits/flaws/glitches can be born. Normally counter intuitive surrounding work well (old furniture, plants and so on...) Some picture or poster she salvaged from the garbage.... Because you can't connect with her till nearly the end you don't care about her and then the fight scenes are just rote. I also don't know why she goes around looking like a skinhead girl. -
It's an 80's horror movie up there mate.

I honestly can't find any fault with Benny the way he is managing the group and delivering a consistent promotion campaign. This isn't the time to be picky about this and that. The priority is to get up as quickly as possible and everything else is secondary.

It's definitely stupidity.

Doubt it. But nevertheless the record of intervention and meddling tells a strange story. It's probably more that they want to get at Russia and destabilize the old middle eastern powers for the benefit of Israel. Gulf States have an unbroken campaign of looking to take out Syria and also with an eye on Iran. The blow back of this policy is that it strengthens and energises the home made Islamic fundamentalists.

Nah. Read up on it. Start with the Western take down of Iraq, Libya and now Syria. (All multi-faith and Sunni and Shia and Kurd constituents - broadly secular). Western backed Jihad in Uzbekistan, Tajikstan and Turkistan (Turks support the jihadis here as well). All secular states currently. Rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt after Western tinkering there. It seems to me that the Gulf states along with other bad actors are on a mission to take down secularist Muslim countries.

You just get up and tell them they are wrong and this is how it's gonna be. The General Public have little grasp of reality anyway. Start seeding cartoons with propaganda.....Oh wait... When I was in the Party we used to just go round peoples houses and show them they were talking shit and later move onto dialectical materialism over a cuppa. The Labour Party are just hiding behind this 'will of the people' claptrap. History shows that 'the people' don't have a will unless you spend loads of money and light shows on giving them the idea they have one. /Nazis/USSR/Peoples Republic. It's time to get real.

1/3 or the Working Claaas have gone over to Ukip anyway. The working class need leading not bowing down to....This is where the left are failing. I mean who the fuck fears the working class anywhere on the planet.

The shire Tories want to roll back the social contract (lot of it is reinforced by EU law) and they don't care what deal comes from the EU. They will be sipping da Pimms in the garden.

Labour need to put rejoing the EU in the manifesto.
