maybe the ones in Victoria who talk with fake british accents ( i shit you not, they exist), maybe the ones who emmigrated or their children. depends on when the poll ( if you really read something <cough> WUM <cough>) was taken. Its been lots of maple syrup and red and white flag waving since the olympics, but in general we don't toot our own horn a whole lot, in my experience anyway. Much more sensible than amerians, the same amount of guns and a fraction of gun crime.

I have kind of a funny story about that. In 1993, I was living in a town about an hour north of Dallas (which would be about an hour, hour and a half south of Waco) going to school and living at my aunt's house. Around the end of February, I was all excited because I was going to fly back home to Illinois to see my friends and family for my birthday, so the week before, I was telling my Texan friends how I was going to go home and blah, blah, blah. The important thing here is, the small town in Illinois that I come from is called Mount Carmel. I basically just flew back for the weekend (might have taken off Friday too), then I was back in Texas. I spent almost every waking minute going to one party or another, seeing all my friends I'd not seen for about a year, then it was back on the plane to return to school. The important thing here is that I didn't watch any TV. So I get back to Texas late Sunday evening, and I'm all tired and kind of out-of-it at school the next day. A couple of my Texan friends are all, "Hey, so where did you say you were going?" Me. "Mount Carmel." Them. "Mount Carmel, where?" Me. "Uh, Illinois? Why?" That was when they told me about the FBI storming and subsequently accidentally setting fire to David Koresh's compound which he had taken to calling Mount Carmel. Of course then I was all, "Wait- what makes you think I would have been at some religious cult's compound?" Never really got a straight answer on that one. Lols.

Don't think it was that particular game but there was one around that time where Waddle was in one of the executive boxes below the East Stand just behind where I was sat. Anyway someone noticed him and immediately the assumption was made that he was about to sign. Some blokes resorted to banging on the window and telling to "get the fucking shirt on!"

Basically my fav film of the last few months. Excellent.

Parker was doomed when he barked something back at the fans that one time. I thought he was a good player though. He actually goes forward with the ball nowadays though.

It transpired he had the wrong kind of muscles apparently for football. More a sprinter type with short tight muscles, can't remember now...Something like that. That was also why he kept getting shin splints cause the muscles weren't compensating properly.

Kilcline scary or Boumsong scary? Kilcline, althought the one we got from QPR spread fear in the dressing room as well. Darren Peacock??? He had the worst speech inpedement of any toon player ever. I remember he was in the sky studio at Ewood Park one time and he sounded like a seal. Yup. Peacock.

Hughes I assume? He was massively underestimated alright, often plays centre back as well as full back too. Suppose you could throw in Distin and Saha who I never remembering impressing too much while on loan but obviously went on to be good players. Aye. Just seen him getting messed up by Drogba in the clip in the other thread. :lol:

Of course Milner is the current one. But I'm also thinking Dabizas, Lee Clark and that full back who could play both sides and is still playing in the PL. Thoughts.

Magaluf is all you need to know. Went mountain climbing having forgotten the water once and made like it didn't matter. Won't be doing that again in a hurry.
