The Taliban WAS a creation of the CIA to fight the Russians, from that point on and along with channelling millions of dollars through the PIA (Pakistani intelligence), the outcome was going to be bad, it just took a little longer to find out. The problems in Afg stem indirectly, but importantly from the cash coming from Saudi Arabia and the 'hawallah' informal money system the general 'Jihad' is being fought with. The black economy supporting the various phoney wars around the globe is bigger than the economy of Italy and Spain combined and a lot of this cash stems from Saudi Arabia who continue to build religious schools in the new (old) Russian states and fund various other 'jihadi' type missions around the world. The war againt Afg is actually a war by proxy against Saudi Arabia and sections of Iran, Syria and Pakistani fundamentalists.
  2. You think he'll get 'the goals'?
  3. Tbf FFS was in hospital when the club was whipped from under him.
  4. Some people are suggeting on NO that Nolan himself was suggesting substitutions, not sure how true this is, but it's kind of worrying, as it suggests that along with all the 'dressing room clique' rumours and the fact that he is 'Captain', he is pretty much undroppable. I wouldn't have made him captain in the first place, but now it seems we are caught between a rock and a hard place. Doesn't contribute much to overall team play, isn't very mobile but gets the odd goal. What's to be done?
  5. I don't understand why we sat back so much. It also must be clear to all concerned that Smith and Nolan are pretty much finished at this level. AT HOME we have to have two strikers on the park and I don't mean Nolan or its going to be pretty tough to get wins with Carroll foraging alone.
  6. Think they just came here stayed organised and held their shape and that was enough. Poor really.
  7. I think he's just scared of Nolan and Smith, they seem to have an unnatural hold on him. I can understand starting unchanged but after that first half, I expected changes and early in the 2nd half. Now we'll lose to Everton and the fear will set in and the early season lift will be gone. CH is just too negative in these key matches and seems not to react to what all can see happenning on the park.
  8. Everyting that is wrong with CH's conservatism on display today. Change nothing sit on yer hands and watch a side still mentally playing Villa get out fought by a pub side.
  9. Two current internationals on the bench and two cloggers on the park. Hughton plays poker with 3 points.
  10. This is the problem when you fuck about and don't start your best players.
  11. Started slowly, knocking it around. Few forward ventures from Collo and Ricky. Bl sitting very deep.
  12. The puddle seems to be showing Chelski...
  13. There is only one, maybe two. It's a watch and wait for another 10 min or so...
  14. From OM supporter posting on NO "When I talk to them, the British journalists tell me that I am the enfant terrible of French football. I told them it was a caricature. I do not want to f*** the s***. I'm in Newcastle to play football. Ben Arfa is Newcast to "play football and not fuck the shit" http://www.foot01.com/foot-europeen/anglet...-la-merde,59243 Hatem Ben Arfa on Saturday will explore the joys of the Premier League. And even if it is a replacement, the former Olympique Marseille player does not hide his pleasure to evolve in this English Premiership where he will be talked about only on land. Hatem Ben Arfa will not be a substitute for Newcastle on Saturday against Blackpool, but the former Olympique Marseille player who knows he still needs a little time to get ready, do not hide his ambitions with the Magpies. For Ben Arfa, training methods in England are clearly more effective than in France and this will enable him to progress further. "It seems to start from scratch. I have to conquer a country. There is really a way to do something here. Compared to France, is really different. It changes. There are some great guys in this group. Players are empowered by the staff. The dialogue is constant and much greater freedom. It is more intelligent. An example: when you do not feel well, you jump training and come back the next day without this problem. This Saturday we play at 15 hours and we're meeting at 13 am at the stage 30. To me, it's never seen, "said Hatem Ben Arfa in the columns of the team. Aware of the little bad boy image that he could hang out, the French international has already set the record straight with the local press. "When I talk to them, the British journalists tell me that I am the enfant terrible of French football. I told them it was a caricature. I do not want to fuck the shit. I'm in Newcastle to play football. In town, the fans approach me but only talk to me nicely, to encourage me. They do not linger, as if unwilling to disturb me, "notes with pleasure the former Marseille.
  15. Hatem Ben Arfa prefer the English model The new midfielder for Newcastle, who will make his debut in the Premier League on Saturday, delivered his first sensations on his arrival in England. It seems much more flourished in France. Hatem Ben Arfa feels good in the north of England. Arriving at Newcastle following the soap opera that we know, HBA has delivered its first Team feelings about his new life across the Channel. And he seems to appreciate the British mentality: "I feel like I start from scratch. I have a country to conquer. (...) Compared to France, it's really different. It changes. There super guys in this group. The players are empowered by the staff. The dialogue is constant and much greater freedom. It's smarter. An example: when you do not feel well, you jump training and come back the next day without it poses a problem. " The former Marseille has also conquered the air by respect for England fans. "I feel a lot of respect. In town, the fans approach me but only talk to me nicely, to encourage me. They do not linger, as if unwilling to disturb me," says it. Maybe he finally found the right environment to flourish? Early response, this Saturday around 16h, for his first game with the Magpies.
  16. -------------Tiote--------------- Rout--------Barton-------Jonas -----------------Bafra---------- -------------Carroll------------- We won't play this today, but this is the way forward.

Islam is now the significant 'other', it is perhaps the last buffer in a duality that includes a sweeping and tediuos capitalism with no values and no roadmap, the whole world turned into disposable trinkets. Islam hasn't been as easy to shift as the weak and forlorn christian church and the demonic catholic church - both have played along and acquired massive wealth for the trouble of not standing up against war and famine and the huge gulf in wealth. That much is already written. Islam for all its warts and imperfections and all its inflexibility has thus far engaged with vaste swathes of the disenfranchised worldwide and for this it is now the 'official enemy'.
