  1. I'm sure you've heard the saying that you can take a Horse to water but you can't force it to drink. The facts speak for themselves, it just seems that facts are not a priority for you and you're just happy to trot out crap in an attempt to come over as if you know what you're talking about. The way you try to turn your lack of understanding of both basic English and Mathematics into my problem is class, did you keep a straight face while you were typing or did you go red? My guess is that you thought that you were right and are oblivious as to how stupid you've made yourself look. While I’m here, what is Ashley doing with the £7 million profit the club was making while we were in the Championship? Think he spunked it on a night out.
  2. I'm a celebrity get me outta here!!11
  3. Just hoping for half a season personally.
  4. you have to wonder how the guy ever made his billions if we was so stupid not to do due dilligence before a takeover. i reckon he's just a barrow boy gambler type that came good and actually fluked his whole fortune. why does he never do interviews? probably because he's as thick as two short planks. the guy is a joke among City analysts Think he's the type that had one good idea and then blagged it for all it was worth, his buying up failing and ailing brands (Slazenger, Dunlop etc), was a clever marketing move imo as they became the gateway to package cheap foreign made products under a semi-posh brand umbrella. I don't really mind him as a person on the business side (quite like the various stories of city types hating him cause he used to come to meetings scruffy and notes in a plastic bag), he's made a little go al long long way. It wasn't his fault either that he was lumbered with fat sam and those poor singnings (on silly wages). Where he did go wrong was not giving KK more leeway and letting Mort stay on too long (a man with no football background who prefers rugby). His rat like survival skills will hopefully rub off on the club and brign it back to health and he's well on the way to do that with the sensible approach of Hughton.
  5. Kitman sits down after a short rebuttal to the judge.
  6. The reason MA didn't twig the mortgage/debt becoming due is cause it wasn't as clear a picture as you and SB are making out. Infact he was shocked and started whinning like fuck.
  7. What he’s doing is a bit like knowing the answer and not the question so he’s making the question up in an attempt to justify something he hasn’t the first idea about. If things were so clear about the debt how come fatty didn't see it?
  8. The rest of the Carribean countries aren't exactly thriving are they? - I suppose they'll have to go all out on tourism but I don't know if that will support the whole population - freedom of emmigration will probably be a problem for the US. I remember being struck by how bad the American attitude to them was when Clinton who I thought was a decent bloke, early in his presidency stated that nothing was going to change and basically called them worse than shit. I know there are rights issues but the bullying by the US going back 45 years is fucking pathetic - not helped by the bitter bastards in Florida who you'd think would be happy they'd escaped. Aye, I suppose you have to take into account the American mindset though. They look at Western Europe with suspicion because of our evil socialist ways, so to have a fully fledged communist country on their doorstep is an anathema. I went to Cuba last year and had mixed feelings. On the one hand there was undeniably less extreme poverty than many other countries I have visited like Jamaica, and look at its neighbour Haiti. On the other hand, there was no doubt the people were oppressed and lacked basic freedoms such as the right to travel abroad. If Cuba opened fully for US tourism, the country would be transformed beyond recognition within a generation, as it is the perfect destination for Americans. There'd obviously be winners and losers during this transition, probably more in the latter category. Is the average Russian better off now than 25 years ago I wonder? Poverty has widened in Russian since a few of then nicked all the money and moved to Europe. Also many have fallen through the gap where the state used to be the last port of call for basic foodstuffs, living essentials and access to work and education.
  9. There is debt and the debt was created to pay for the stadium and compete in the upper tier of the PL - so what?
  10. you're probably right. but in all seriousness, don't expect anyone on this board to care about your club, or your opinions. YOu've clearly got the skills of a social worker.
  11. Some kind of religious tax comes out of your pay here, Meenz or Ise will know more.
  12. I think you're talking shite, one of the best things about the left side is how composed he is under pressure rather than just hoofing it. It's not the English way but it's his way. Can you think of a goal what you're talking about has cost us? Nope neither can I. 6 lines and nothing to say as usual. Think he was doing step overs at one point.
  13. and you still lost embarrassing no?
  14. Which will be peanuts. Dare I say at last the football gods have turned? One good season in the PL and we're looking at a 15m player IMO.
  15. Problem is that last inj at Man U robbed him of a lot of his mobility and pace, otherwise would still be a decent player. It's only his wages that bother me really if he was on say 30k, he'd be good back up for midfield.
  16. Women are crap at most things cause they live inside their heads.
  17. Normally I respect what Caulkin has to say but that's half a story there in bold. We've done this one to death in the past but the club prostituted Given around the Premiership in the run up to the January transfer window despite his 10 years service and then when Given told them to go fuck themselves, they played the victim and claimed he was trying to engineer his way out. And yes I am ITK on this one and no, I'm not going to disclose any further. It's all irrelevant, he'll never come back so long as the club is owned by Ashley and I imagine Ashley is too stubborn to back down. Just saddens me to realise that those fuckwits have hoodwinked so many of our supporters on the Given situation. I don't imagine for a moment they didn't try and cash in on Given.
  18. They were both magnificnet, I've no desire to get picky about this and that. What Tiote does with the ball or where he goes is very much dictated to who is available for a pass. He does the best thing which is hold onto it move forward a bit and wait for a pass.
  19. I'm backing off a bit after embarrasing myself in this thread early doors.
  20. Don't really care what happens as long as Smith and Guti don't start. That is really all we have to do to feel happy that the best side is on the pitch.
