I dunno it's fairly easy to rattle Arsenal. If you stand off them and let them play (jog around with the ball) you get mullahered. Silly.

The biggest problem with Capitalism (whatever flavour) is getting money back out into the periphey. it is singularly shit at this as its main drives tend to create monopolies and reduce/fragment the 'money supply'. This is the key thing. It means that within its dogma it carries the seeds of its own destruction (it's already history actually and what we witness now are elaborate schemes to keep it on its last legs). Hence all over Europe over the last 30 years we have witnessed state intervention (our money) holding it together, which ironically is a proxy for socialism (which broadly speaking) in Europe has always been the moral drive (the velvet glove). In the future (near future) the state will realise it itself needs to take more responsability for lending and energising the market and finally the state will become the market (it already is one of the biggest drivers of the market).

Have you read his article? It's about a book he's been involved in getting published...the life of a US soldier.....not his memoir. I was making a comment on the substance of the article. Can you follow Tellytubbies any better?

Going to be difficult to see how when 650k are to be added to the 2.47m already unemployed just through the Public sector cuts. The private sector is going to solve all our problems. Duh.

We still need a right back.

Good advice that. Still wake up ocassionally at 4-5am worrying about shit. I've also got into the bad habit of smoking and making a tea when I wake up too early, which is idiotic iyam. That's bad crack like. I find when I've been on the drink I get 5 or 6 hours, but lately I've been forcing myself back to sleep which works wonders. We live in a very masculine macho society where blokes aren't supposed to talk about pressures of life and how they're feeling, but sometimes when you get yourself in a circumstantial bad frame of mind, you feel like you're the only person in the world who's suffering, the only person in the world who's having a bad day, who questions their life, but when you look at the big picture, a lot of people go through bad phases, it's just some people find them easier to deal with, the best way of curing it like I say is trying to focus on the big picture and thinking of brighter days ahead. The toon have the ability to cheer up my worst of moods, and the opposite is true as well. The biggest downside to living with women is you can't use the age old cure of wanking yerself back to sleep. Especially with Mrs P lying there with her German hair trigger - robot like Aryan senses. I love the fact that the thought of shagging her doesnt even cross your mind It's not allowed unless pre-arranged with the required number of polit buro stamps and correct documentation. Gone are the days I would rub myself off on her inner thigh (as she slept) with not a care in the world (it's a delicate art).

Blackburn are not as good as Stoke so if we get our noses in front, we can beat them. Same with Fulham. Would be happy with WLDDD tbh, with the hope of picking up a win and draw at home from B'burn and Fulham. I'm upbeat about beating both of them.

Hopefully this run in the team lasts and he might improve a wee bit more. Needs to cut out the silly mistakes, he seems too relaxed at times. Maybe he is meditating too much. Thought his passing was better on Saturday though. He still gave it away a bit too much but it was a massive improvement on the last 3 or 4 games where his passing has been atrocious. Great ball in for the 2nd too. Shame he doesnt have an extra yard of pace. I agree his passing has got better. I was trying to work out on saturday if our midfield was flat 4 when defending and narrow 3 with Nolan in behind when attacking. Barton was coming inside as he needed to cover the central areas at times, then had to bust a gut to get back out wide when defending. Or was that him just drfiting in naturally? Our shape seemed quite fluid, it wasnt always strictly 4-4-2. When defending teams will instinctively go narrow.

Fulham and Blackburn are crap. Both are a team of scrappers with one or two standout players. These are the teams we have more chance of beating than the real sitting on it sides like Stoke and Blackpool. These will be more open games.

I'm upbeat atm, not sure why, but I'm normally right. Stay frosty. This one may we come back and bite you on the arse. It can get in line then.

I was just mimicking his writing style btw.

I must admit to liking Hitchens even though he has used Islam as an oar in his rather pathetic paddle boat takeover of the 'concerned airwaves' of Americana. A good mind (not great) and a marvelous intellect (but lacking in vision). He has done what averagely good minds do, which is to document rather than invent. He will be missed as much by his enemies as his friends, which is always a sign that you have made a mark. Hope he can hang in there as long as possible.

Highly recommend Imperrial Bedrooms. The dry observational style and the addled internal thoughts are quite something. It has a finality and hopelessness about it. It's not just casually cynical, its poetic in its it's (his) inability to connect. I guess it is modern surrealism in the vein of Age of Reason and Iron in the Soul. It's moving but leaves you cold. No character posses any of the qualities needed to help another. Extremely well written. Sounds a little bit like Ballard. But cleaner, more pure. More crystaline. Fucking hell man. You're batshit crazy. At this juncture I'd like to point out I'm not the one that fawns over coffee pads.

Just that she was a pretty girl to say she was from Kent, but she should leave the football predictions to the blokes and I said I'd love say I hope you stay up but I dont and ended with a "bye x". Abused Grant too. Blokes a fekin one man walking horror movie.

Said he was as good as any def mid we ever had and got gip for it. Yhat shot was going in as well (hit Parkers back). Almost impossible to shrug off the ball. Gives the pass at the right time, doesn't panic or mind waiting to keep posession.
