"What's the matter with you?" "I can't swim!" "Are you crazy, the fall will probably kill you!" You'd probs enjoy Wyatt Earp and Tombstone. Seen Tombstone and enjoyed it plenty. Googling Wyatt Earp brings up shit reviews but I could be looking at the wrong one. Kevin Costner? I think it's good. Trust me. 3.10 from Yuma has a massive gun battle at the end. Mega.

"Did you see LeFleurs out there"? "No". "Good, thought we were in trouble for minute". *Half the mexican army camped outside.

Being played out of position doesn't count. He's a centre back. N'Zogbia played left back for Newcastle and France U21. Perch is a right back and it's probably harder to play LB as a right-footed RB than it is to play there as a left-footed CB. Zanetti was probably the prince of that dark art.

Tall lasses are alright for porn, but never the two worlds should meet.

When i was sinlge a few years back a mate's lass tried to set me up with her mate who was 6'7. I met her when we were all out one night, she was good looking and decent to talk to but all i could think of when talking to her was 'i could lick you oot standing up'. Not a good sign. Make me nervous if they're too tall. One of the mothers is quite keen on me and we sometimes chat when picking up the kids, but she's way too tall. Keeps making cd's for me and shit.

I could also have mentioned Amelie and Dr Strangelove, the Shining, 2001, The Kid, Rashomon.... Modern favourites is another interesting one...best 3 of the noughties... City Of God Amelie Oldboy ....leaves no room for There Will Be Blood I know you haven't watched these but make sure you do.. 1.The White Ribbon A superb and disturbing film, Michael Haneke's vision of pre-first world war Germany offers no easy answers. By Peter Bradshaw 5 out of 5 2 THE TWILIGHT SAMURAI 3. Zero Focus 2009, 130 min., 35 mm, color, in Japanese with English subtitles. Directed by Isshin Inudou. With Hidetoshi Nishijima, Ryoko Hirosue, Miki Nakatani, Tae Kimura, Takeshi Kaga. A stellar remake of the classic 1961 Yoshitaro Nomura film (based on the bestselling novel by Seicho Matsumoto) and the closest Japanese film in years to an Alfred Hitchcock picture, with a Douglas Sirk edge. Ryoko Hirosue plays Teiko, a newlywed who's investigating the sudden disappearance of her husband, Kenichi (Hidetoshi Nishijima), after he fails to return from a business trip. As she unravels the mystery surrounding his disappearance she uncovers evidence that he was not the man she thought had married. Soon, she learns that her beloved husband was close to two fascinating women: elegant provincial aristocrat Sachiko (Miki Nakatani) and company receptionist Hisako (Tae K I recommended The Twilight Samurai in my "Eastern cinema" thread a few years ago. It is quality.

There's defo a fruit in the cab. Sorry, CT. You always apologise for abuse. Just to CT I do. I feel abit sorry for him 'cos he get's tortured on here, day in day out. Warranted, aye. But, still ... I don't think he would if he would just take the chips off his shoulders. I mean last neet "this is what a day on Toontastic is all about, good crack etc.." how would he naa what good crack is. He tries to be an authority on too many things and does it in a patronising way, and that really is the taxi drivers trait. If he piped down I'm sure people would warm to him more. My fav cabbies are the ones who start jabbering and forget to put the meter on.

Must admit I haven't watched Trainspotting.

Watched that about 4 times now. Really is a modern classic. The Cruise chareacter is immense in it as a counterpoint to all the navel gazing shennanigans.

How many times you watched that for fun like? Actually a mate of mine bought it for me and it sat in the draw for about 2 years before I watched it.
