  1. The thing is if I agree to it it puts me in a new position financially completely earning a really good London wage in Newcastle. You have to ask yourself if you want to stay at the level you're at at the moment forever or do you want career progression. What I do at the moment is quite skilled, you need great industry knowledge, but the economy is buoyant enough for me to earn 30k+ year, if I agree to this that changes almost overnight. To be honest I'd rather just have the salary without the hassle. We'll see what happens. I'd hate to end up coming across like Dr Gloom that's my fear. Jobs change people when one of me best mates became a copper he changed a bit, still a good kid overall though. I never said I didn't want to be a manager one day, just not where I work at the minute. The NHS is great for promotion as you can pretty much find a level you are happy with whether it be Band 5 - Staff Nurse running a shift Band 6 - Charge Nurse running the ward Band 7 - Ward Manager Band 8 A,B,C,D - Service Manager, Director etc. You have to balance it with the reasons you went into the job in the first place though. If you always wanted to be a nurse and have patient contact then sitting in a office with some of the dour gits that run our place is probably not for you. Fuck me! No wonder the NHS is so expensive. Two of those bands are redundant.
  2. They've been tring to flog Hutton ever since.
  3. Well I'm being offered this position through circumstances rather than being an arselicker or being anything special. You can do it mate. Cakewalk for you I'm sure. Do it. It's 12 months away like, my only recruitment policies taking people on will be NO MUGS, NO MACKEMS and NO STUDENTS, with the test being spell pneumonia. Always hire people brighter than you, that is the golden rule. I'd like reports back when you get going. You're making it sound impossible already. Basically it is really important to identify your weaknesses as well as strengths. Hire people to cover your weaknesses but never let on.
  4. Rubbish it all you want, I hate it. I do repossession sales & then collecting the shortfall after the property gets sold off at a low price. People are usually pretty quick to tell their tale as a way of explaining their circumstances and you really do hear some awful stories which make you feel bad for chasing them. Mind, on the other hand someone lied for 4 or 5 years that her husband had died to get out of having their house repossessed and went as far as to say things like she didn't want to leave the area they lived in because the kids liked to go to the dad's grave and cry. It only came to light years later when the bloke signed something. Stop doing it. And fall into arrears on my own bills because I'm not getting paid? It's sould destroying for you and the victim at the other end. Stop it. Now. Ok.
  5. This will be Spurs last seson in the big time.

  11. Tbf some of their performances in theCL have been decent and inspired.
  12. Why the fuck are you cunts collecting money?
  13. Can't live off the Berbasulk and Carrick spoils forever. Name the players in your side now that you think you could sell for a profit? Van Der Vaart might be one though he'd have a limited set of clubs he could go to, then there's Lennon. Bale's value will have gone up from the 10m you paid. Modric's value will have held. Huddlestone's will have risen. The rest will have dropped off. Gomez 8m Hutton 9m Kaboul 9.5m (you've already lost 5.5m on him) Jenas 7m+ Pavlyuchenko 14m Keane 12m+ Palacios 12m Crouch 10m dos Santos 5m+ Defoe 16m Bentley 15m+ Bassong 8m Dawson 8m Corluka 8.5m For a start there are several glaring errors and ommissions You include the 5.5 mil loss on Kaboul but refuse to acknowledge the 8 million profit on keane. Also we only ended paying 5m to Southampton for Bale as we bought out way out of the other 5 for an upfront payment as they were struggling. We would probably get 5 times that now. Dawsom came as an 8 mil package with andy reid. So at the most you can value him at him at 4 mil. Worth probably 3 times that now. Lennon bought from Leeds for 1.5mil. Worth between 8-10 now I would say. Huddlestone bought from Derby for 4.5 mil. Would command int he region of 10-15 mil for him now. Gallas aquired on a free, would probably get a couple of mil for him on recent form. And lets face it alot of players you mention above have take Spurs to the CL. Do you think that would have decreased their value? Son. I would do some research before slating other peoples teams because youre never going to know as much as them and ALWAYS going to get burried. They won't be taking you into the CL this year.

  18. Muslim conspriracy, innit? I swear we are mentally linked.
  19. Man City have really shit in the Spurs salad bowl.
  20. Another of the bench brigade at Tottenham; sparsely used collecting their big wages to sit on the bench whilst their market value deterioriates. See Keane. See Bentley. See Jenas. See Wioodgate. See King. See dos Santos. See Kranjcar. See Sando. See Corluka. Bentley was 15m innit?
  21. Too busy breaking up the town anyway, like a real man.
  22. Am with you on that one. How to be a parent? Erm, dont be a twat maybe? Did you know how the mother holds the baby in the first few weeks is key? No I didn't either. Kangaroo method? Very effective with premature babies. Saw that on Grey's Anatomy.
  23. Very low quality wummery. Must get a brain.
