Nolan's best form has came when he's been in the centre of the park with Tiote. He's not mobile enough to play up front as he just gets marked out of the game. His best work comes running from deep where he doesn't get picked up. OOooo you know your football Jonny.

British scientists 'invent artificial petrol' that could cost just 90p per GALLON (and there's no carbon) By Fiona Macrae and Rob Cooper Last updated at 12:34 AM on 29th January 2011 * Hydrogen-based fuel produces no greenhouse gases so could help nations slash their carbon footprint * It is due to be available at the pumps in three to five years Petrol price relief? Stephen Voller, Chief Executive of Cella Energy said he is confident the new fuel will work in existing cars Petrol price relief? Stephen Voller, chief executive of Cella Energy said he is confident the new fuel will work in existing cars Artificial petrol that costs 19p per litre could be on forecourts in as little as three years. British scientists are refining the recipe for a hydrogen-based fuel that will run in existing cars and engines at the fraction of the cost of conventional petrol. With hydrogen at its heart rather than carbon, it will not produce any harmful emissions when burnt, making it better for the environment, as well as easier on the wallet. The first road tests are due next year and, if all goes well, the cut-price ‘petrol’ could be on sale in three to five years. Professor Stephen Bennington, the project’s lead scientist, said: ‘In some senses, hydrogen is the perfect fuel. It has three times more energy than petrol per unit of weight, and when it burns, it produces nothing but water. ‘Our new hydrogen storage materials offer real potential for running cars, planes and other vehicles that currently use hydrocarbons.’ The fuel is expected to cost around $1.50 a gallon, or 19p a litre. Even with fuel taxes, the forecourt price is likely to be around 60p a litre – less than half the current cost. That would bring the price of filling a 70-litre Ford Mondeo down to around £42. Energy from hydrogen can be harnessed by burning the gas or combining it with oxygen in a fuel cell to produce electricity. But current methods of storing hydrogen are expensive and not very safe. STEPHEN Ireland’s stuttering claret and blue career has suffered another setback with the Aston Villa midfield misfit now sidelined by a knee injury picked up in training. Ireland will not be considered for Sunday's derby clash at Birmingham City but has an outside chance of being fit for next weekend’s visit of former club Manchester City. The £8 million make-weight in the summer deal which took James Milner to Eastlands has not played since starting in the defeat at Liverpool in December. Ireland has not featured in any of Villa’s six match day squads since then and now it has emerged he has been nursing a knee problem for a fortnight. Not sure if you were aware, but the bloke and his mates are the ones who did Capturing The Friedmans. Just finished Catfish and I thought it was excellent. Totally gripping when they start to realise everything has been a lie. Thought the naivety was astounding tbh. "Hey! (nauseating yank accent) that song is the same...Hey guys! Look it's not her song..." I was really happy it was all fake stupid uppity new york self-centered beaky fucks. Should have ended with the hicks slaughtering them and feeding them to the pigs. Fucking iphone, macpro, photoshop yerselves out of that you fucking cunts. -

Harry senses that Spurs season has reached the glass ceiling (look at how shaky they were against us) and this bid might just be a smokescreen/distraction. -

Mashley has been lucky in the sense that the general standard of the PL is pretty shit right now. -

Fuck I'm meant to be seeing this today. Dunno what to do now cos when you put it like that it does sound like total shit. 127 Hours maybe. Re prices, my lass now won't go to the pictures unless we go to the Gallery at the Metrocentre. £17 a ticket! £20.50 if it is IMAX! Speech isn't a film that needs a cinema trip. It's more like a telly piece. Aye that's been my feeling about it tbh. These reviews have been read out to her. Don't know if it's on in Newcastle yet, but Hereafter the new Eastwood looks like a decent punt. Understatement but then I don't know if it's possible to overstate it tbf. Very much agree with the post in the context of transfer policy though (I don't know how you begin to look at management recruitment on the other hand, because it's been horrendous). My criticism of him stems entirely from the fact you honestly cannot trust his next whim at all (Mac-Toon's criticism essentially). Others however seem to be entirely focussed on things not happening quickly enough with big money transfers and this accounts for their criticism. Fortunately for those in the latter camp Leazes has promised a take over in the first couple months of the year so that could change things on that score, but if it does I'd like to see the more root and branch improvements of club ethos being continued and not sacrificed on the altar of colour coded Audi R8's. Yup. -

We are moving forward under Ashley albeit slowly. But the signs however small and however it's spun have been generally good over the last year or so. He might remain unpredictable, but the wage structure and buying young players has remanined the order of the day. Think everyone on here can see that. It's where Spurs were about 5 or so years ago. Don't think we will sell any key players this window. -

From NO We'll sell him Monday, everyone will moan like fuck for a few days talking about burning the ground down etc, then we'll beat Fulham and everyone will forget about it and start saying "he's not stupid, he's never sold our better players without them wanting to leave, he doesn't want to get relegated you know, Best scored a hat trick and is starting to look better, give Xisco a go he'll clearly do well, shouting at the nasty man will just affect the players etc". Then repeat in six months time when Pardew is sacked, replaced by Peter Beardsley and all the players are forced to get Sports Direct tattooed on their cocks and flash it at the female lino everytime they score a goal. -

Think the first sensible target is stabalising in the PL. I would have been happy with 12th which was my prediction at the start of the season. Quite honestly as the finances slowly come under control and we start to 'push on', most people will expect us to challenge for top 6, that will be the next step and I think we are on course for that if we keep Carroll and add one or two good players in the summer. The PL is pretty shit outside the top 6 right now. -

Spurs mugs giving it large.. "Oh great, a slight upgrade on Crouch! Before Crouch's spell at Spurs, he'd done as much as Carrol has done at the same point in their careers. Defenders will work out how to play him, as they've done with Crouch." -

IMO his current value is about 35m and his future value if he continues developing and playing for Eng would be £50m, would be utter madness to accept 25m now. UTTER MADNESS MIKE...MIKE!! MIIIIIKEEEE!!! -
