Let's hope Chelsea get Lukaku and we can have the Battyman on loan. -
He's quite sexy up close.

Was at the Varoufakis talk today in Hamburg and managed to get hold of him after for a quick chat. He was of the opinion the EU are going to make it quite tough as they did with Greece during the crisis. The primary reason is that it serves as a warning to the other who are perhaps on the edge like Italy and Spain with growing populist movements. That even if they work against their best interests there is a good chance that they want to send out a political message to the rest of Europe. Just as Greece was used to scare the other debtor countries.

It will take about 7 years to sort out. By then everyone will have forgotten what it was all about.

Kabbalah doesn't believe in a God but rather some kind of architect 'Universal A.I.'. Lot of Jews are atheists in the technical sense. David Cameron ''The great-great-grandson of Emile Levita, a German-Jewish émigré banker who came to Britain in 1871, had sown the seeds for what will inevitably come to be seen as the stand-out Jewish legacy of his six years as Prime Minister.''
-
You'll notice the trouble he had with it. Family are Russian or Polish Jews or summink. ''His mother, Marion Kozak, a human rights campaigner and early CND member, is a Polish Jew ..........'' It all runs from the mothers side.

He is Jewish.

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/ng-interactive/2017/feb/20/gb-v-eu-how-the-brexit-negotiating-teams-line-up The European Commission’s chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier has assembled a team of roughly 30 staffers to coordinate the EU’s position. This task force is likely to double in size at the very least in the first few months of formal negotiations. The EU’s battle plan, agreed at the last European summit, largely left the politics to presidents and prime ministers and focused on technicalities. But Barnier’s appointments suggest he wants his staffers to have strong political instincts as well. As you might expect, the French veteran has filled his ranks with several former aides and officials from his previous jobs. With at least five French staffers in the negotiating team — the deputy diplomatic adviser is a top young French civil servant, Tristan Aureau — it’s fair to assume French will be frequently heard in the corridors of the fifth floor of the Berlaymont, where the team is headquartered, to the dismay, no doubt, of British tabloids. François Arbault, a cabinet member when Barnier was European commissioner for the internal market and financial services, was one of the first to join the team, as was Stefaan de Rynck, a financial services expert who will handle the task force’s relations with national parliaments and think-tanks.'' http://www.politico.eu/article/michel-barnier-brexit-dream-team-negotiation-europe-commission/

When the negotiations start there will be plenty to fill its own thread without destroying the other political type threads and harking back to debates in the in/out thread and the GE thread. So far both sides have started with bluster and strong stances and seems like rigid positions. This is all bollocks and will there will be plenty of compromise to come....Unless the EU want to destroy us.... Remember the EU is fighting on four fronts: Ukraine, Greece, Hungary AND UK. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-eu-hungary-idUSKBN17S1DZ The document voted through by the European parliament confirms: Britain will leave the EU on 30 March 2019 00.00 Brussels time, unless the EU27 agrees unanimously to extend talks. The status of EU citizens (3.5 million EU citizens in the UK and 1.2 million Britons on the continent) is the EU’s top priority. The Brexit agreement must ensure “effective, enforceable, non-discriminatory and comprehensive guarantees” for those people and their families. There is no mention of the €100bn Brexit bill (or any other number). Instead, the EU states that Britain will have to agree on a “single financial settlement” covering the EU budget and British contributions to the European Investment Bank and other common funds. The EU’s hope of avoiding a hard border on the island of Ireland, while “respecting the EU’s legal order”, meaning customs checks will have to be in place, if the UK leaves the customs union. The EU wants to ensure that any future British government can be held to account if it fails to uphold the Brexit agreement: it proposes “an institutional structure to ensure an effective enforcement of the commitments” and refers to the importance of the European court of justice. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/may/22/ready-for-brexit-talks-says-eu-chief-negotiator-michel-barnier
