The generally don't do too well at our place. If we can get a win today it will be really massive cause they are a quality side and no mistake.

The Football Association says it will investigate claims from Manchester United defender Patrice Evra that he was racially abused by Liverpool forward Luis Suarez. Evra says the incident occurred in Saturday's 1-1 draw between the teams. A Liverpool spokesman said Suarez "categorically denied" the allegation. An FA statement read: "Referee Andre Marriner was made aware of an allegation at the end of the fixture and has reported this to the FA." It added: "The FA will now begin making enquiries into the matter." Evra was quoted as telling French TV station Canal Plus: "There are cameras, you can see him [suarez] say a certain word to me at least 10 times." The game at Anfield ended 1-1 after Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard's free-kick was cancelled out by Javier Hernandez's late header for United." Out of order in the modern game. Ten times?!

It's cause he's gone over to the dark side. -
Nice for an international coach realising that a player shouldnt be risked and potentially crocked for his club in a match that doesnt really matter. A rarity these days.

Trust me on this. The 'Culture' novels are superb. I mean really awe inspiring big table sci-fi stuff. http://www.amazon.de/Surface-Detail-Culture-Novels-Banks/dp/1841498955 Surface Detail and Matter are my pick of them. But they are all good.

That's either a silly comment by Pards of some kind of Brian Clough mind game.

Good thinking. Sponsorship tag lines abound no doubt. -

This top 8-10 level is one thing, you can get by with careful spending and nicking end of contract players...But at some point to challenge the top 6 you have to be ready to blow 50odd meeweon. /Plato -

"Ayre believes the Premier League's four biggest global draws – Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal – deserve an increased share from 2013, with overseas broadcasting having a greater influence on the Anfield club's financial future than a new stadium. "Personally I think the game-changer is going out and recognising our brand globally," said the Liverpool managing director. "Maybe the path will be individual TV rights like they do in Spain. There are so many things moving in that particular area. "What is absolutely certain is that, with the greatest of respect to our colleagues in the Premier League, but if you're a Bolton fan in Bolton, then you subscribe to Sky because you want to watch Bolton. Everyone gets that. Likewise, if you're a Liverpool fan from Liverpool, you subscribe. But if you're in Kuala Lumpur there isn't anyone subscribing to Astro, or ESPN to watch Bolton, or if they are it's a very small number. Whereas the large majority are subscribing because they want to watch Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea or Arsenal." Here we go.

He's bloody rubbish.

He'll never die. His mug will be on apple pages and coffee cups for a 100 years and there is Steve Jobs ipad in the works apparently. It's a piece of chalk and a slate, the limited edition comes with a torch so you can use it at night.

Think we're in a grey area right now cause the team are playing well and the Carroll sale so far looks like a lot of money for not much. Think there will be more clarity either way after Jan and the end of this season. A top 8 fiinish and a lower wage bill (I imagine) and a younger, faster, fresher squad would be looking like a modicum of success to most. Will MA push on? Time will tell. -

I didn't bother. I listened to a few smodcasts instead. The Mrs enjoyed it like. But she liked adventures of a shopaholic. It's quite good. WFE that is. -
Sad to hear that mate. The world doesn't work how you imagined it works, you can see that now... It might sound ludicrous to you at this moment and it would to me cause I've had some tough periods over the last couple of years (some of it documented on here), if someone had said it back then, but this is actually A WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY!! It is a great chance to re-invent yourself and now you have time for introspection and the chance to become that person you really are (you can make changes to the real you). What often happens in long relationships is that the essence and meaning of life gets tangled up and distorted, compromises are made and people get stuck in a comfort zone. What is happenning to you now is a second chance and believe me it REALLY IS although it might not seem like it. In 2009 I lost a lot of my business and money and all those 'friends' and so on...and it was compounded by being seperated from Mrs P and the bairn for 4 months...I had hit what I thought was the bottom...(But it isn't). It is a chance to gather up yourself and get a second wind...To be that person that you forgot you were and to remember those things you carry have meaning and knowledge and how to put them to new use. Make a point of getting out and about (imagine my first year in Hamburg with no real friends - I have two or three good ones now)...But it was a long journey...But it is a journey you must make for the soul needs nourishing and the signs need following...Start saying yes to things and start to pay more attention to the real you...You know the one you left behind while all this relationship lark was going on....HE WILL SURPRISE YOU. He has been waiting for the call. Good luck. P

Drive. Excellent. The guy is withdrawn and an observer, going about his antics as a getaway driver on the side while working in a repair shop. Falls for the wrong girl..... 8.8 -
What amuses me about this type of woman is they talk about unobtainable men like they're attainable. "Eeh what I'd do to him if I was 10 years younger" Errr he'd still think you're a fat ginger cunt with a hairlip love. From when I worked in large offices in the past (DSS, council etc) I found the women who talked about sex all the time were the ones who's minges had probably seized up due to the lack of action. 100% right in my experience, always the ones who you couldn't/don't want to imagine having sex too. The same type in late February "eeh it'll soon be christmas". It's the total acceptance of mediocrity I could never cope with though. Every fucking day the same, you need some variation something different! I didn't even want promotion because I hated everything about the organisation from what they did to the people that worked in it. Not all like there was some canny lads and lasses but the majority, fuckin hell. It's how important they perceive themselves to be as well. It never ceased to amaze me how the masses revelled in mediocrity. Orwell was wrong on that score.
