My spidey senses are tingling. -
Security guards provided for the Olympics by the firm G4S may not be able to speak English, the company's chief executive has admitted. Nick Buckles, who admitted he had not realised that the company would not be able to provide sufficient staff to fulfil its contract until a few days ago, told the BBC's Radio 4 Today programme he could not confirm that all G4S guards were fluent in English. "That is a difficult question to answer. They all have a right to work in the UK and have been vetted to very high standards. I cannot say categorically as I sit here today [that all the guards speak English]," he said. This whole bodged security roll out is ridiculous. http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2012/jul/14/london-2012-olympic-security-g4s

My only worry with this is that MA likes his cash on the nail deals. Honestly would rather loan him for a year and try and get Liv to pay some of the wages. -
For me it will remain the best TV series ever.

Think it's pretty clear that he won't fit into the new BR choreography (fast interchanges, fluid positions and so on...). Think it will be a loan deal. -

Ideally in a 433.

Confident we will get him.

It's actually the old bakery that was originally attached to his villa. 'Leon' had an argument with the local mayor and don't visit much which is a real shame. To the right are Dutch arms dealers and to the left Americans (who's pool we used).

It's the kind of thing that I always hope works out. Good idea.

Dunno. There's a fair few castles on hills and that...(3euro for a coke if you get thirsty up there!!)...

It's good but not magnificent.

Cushty.

More deep countryside style...Lavender fields and so on.. Still only a 40 min drive to the sea. Did a fair bit of horse riding which was a bit scary in parts. Stayed in Jean Reno's outhouse.

Just got back from Avignon and the post holiday depression is kicking in...

Hodgson the problem is that English football is being pulled in two directions simultaneously. We want a healthy and competitive England side, but the development is hindered by the hideous statistic which says that only 30-odd per cent of the Premier League's players are eligible to play for England, compared with 70-odd per cent of La Liga's players qualified to play for Spain and an only slightly lower figure for German players in the Bundesliga. As great a commercial triumph as it may be, the Premier League's new £3bn TV contract will only make the situation worse. Even more Eden Hazards and Marko Marins will be attracted to England's Champions League contenders by even higher wages, at the expense of a brilliant prospect such as Josh McEachran, who should now be playing for Chelsea every week."
