There is literally no point on false economies in the PL. You get relegated. You have to spend what people around you are spending or you get left behind. It's even more ridiculous when you have a world class manager.

Half of those are world class. My vision for the club is probably different to yours. We could have signed the bloke who's gone to Huddersfield 1/2 in Ligue 1. They paid around 11/12m. You can hunt around and get a Tier 2 striker who on analysis will be Tier 1. Mitro and Gayle will never be Tier 1.

We have to get one. Was just looking at Troy Deeney stats 10/31, Rondon got 10 goals as well which is very good for a struggling side. Gayle will have to get at least 10 goals. I think both are better than what we have.

Proven goal getter in a top league (Not Portugal, Denmark or Holland). Approaching peak years ie 24 and upwards but under 30. Striker ratio of at least 1/3 with 2/3 good season under his belt. Price would be around 25m plus. Tier 1 is a good striker with more to come but not yet World class. Obviously we won't be buying a world class striker. So Gayle is a Tier 2 striker. Has PL experience and decent goal getter who will improve. Kane is Tier 1 etc...
