  1. Gemmill won't let it go... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLWwtp7rUYA
  2. Knowledge base is the heartbeat of any good organisation and especially in football where things change so quickly with regard to new ideas and tactics. I'd say ours is pretty poor compared to the majority of the Premier League. Good practice and inspiration and vision is vital in competitive sport where confidence and knowledge is everything. You can get away with a scant coaching staff if the manager is top notch but Pardew certainly needs help, he needs at least two more dedicated and skilled coaches especially in the attacking areas and certainly in a modern tactical approach to games. His main strenghts are that he's a good organiser and good spinner and can at times instill a fighting spirit but in key areas he is all too lacking, the main one being his inabiltiy to get a side predominantly of internationals to play cogent and progressive football. The majority of the time our football is stone age.
  3. Agree. 433 and a match bonus for whomever crocks Silva.
  4. Very, very good CD for his age. All for it if it's true and only £5m.
  5. Yeah I'm more worried Pards won't start him for another month...
  6. Thought it was common knowledge he was under instructions to give his hamstring a proper rest. The tirade on here is unbecoming tbh..
  7. Well said. Hatem will prove them all wrong...Again. Hatem must be loved. Always. He must be given love and ocassionally a couple of choc biscuits.
  8. Seriously guys we all know we're probably on a hiding to nothing....But if football was always about the better side then Holland would have won 5 world cups.
  9. Honestly think this is our best chance in a long while to get something. Aguero, Tevez, Natiscic, Nasri won't be playing. Navas and Negredo are new boys...Yaya is another year older and Silva will be coming back from Ecuador... If we really put it about the first 15 min anything can happen.
  10. Agree with that. Guti causes as many problems as he solves by being a bottleneck when it comes to releasing the ball or as an outlet for an attacking phase. He brings a lot of pressure back on us with his dithering and swanning (he is our ALICE BAND PLAYER). Think his def workrate has been talked up beyond any rational yardstick. I'd start three frowards and try and play the game in their half as much as we can...City like to camp in the opp half and if they do we'll take a hiding...We've nothing to lose so play Gooofy up front/left channel as an outlet and give Cisse two or three chances via him and Hatem. If we get one goal then the whole side will be lifted...
  11. It all goes through Silva and Yaya. I'd task Sissoko with kicking Yaya and Tiote or Cabaye kicking Silva. If you distract/hurt/upset these two City without Tevez and Aguero aren't the mountain people anticipate they will be. Negredo and Navas look average compared to the Argies. Against pop opinion I think it will be tight game.
  12. It's a gamble with Lukaku...From scanning the Chelsea sites they have no idea who's getting the striker birth in the 4231 Jose will start. Sturridge is back for Liv and Dzeko wll start - Aguero has knee problems. I've gone - Dzeko - Sturridge - Soldado as the front three. Don't discount Schurrle starting for Chelsea - Mou has been bigging him up and Mata not being in the Spanish squad will start both games more than likely.
  13. I think if we cut through the shit he's basically crap.
  14. 3 Chelsea would be wiser. I'd go .................Kr................. Deb......Taylor...Collo...Yanga.. .......Anita...Sissoko...Cabs..... ........Hatem........... ..............................Goofy... ...............Cisse
  15. He does that Swan dive well just as he loses control of the ball.
  16. That Ginola interview where KK told him he couldn't smoke on the coach cause it was unhealthy and he looked around and everyone was eating huge portions of fish and chips.
  17. Ideally Remy will end up playing where Jonas is as a fluid withdrawn forward/striker/winger type. Remy cutting in at pace is something to look forward to, along with Hatem doing the same the other flank.
