  1. Still marvel at the way gymming was sold to the masses as a panacea for everything. It probably makes almost no difference to your longevity compared to sensible eating and genes.

  3. My prediction is that we'll lose 1-3 and Pards will get kicked out. However this is a game that if we win convincingly will put some confidence back into the boys. Nolan is in good form is my main worry (probably will score) and Daddydice has them playing in his own image as a loud, juddering heavy machine; misfiring and clunky but dangerous. Remy to start.
  4. Same here. I have a feeling all this 'exercise' is about something else. *pats beer belly.
  5. Been crying today, needed a little rub down and a cuddle...Debuchy wasn't available for comment.
  6. Thought Obama signed whistleblower protection act or summink..
  7. It wasn't so long ago Spurs earnings and ours was more or less the same. The PL is one of the biggest viewed brands on the planet, it really should be childsplay to piggyback that value.
  8. I can honestly say a proper marketing and branding team would triple our non-media earnings in 5 years without breaking sweat...The club is run by meer cats.
  9. http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/WO1308/S00312/aia-announces-sponsorship-of-tottenham-hotspur-football-club.htm http://www.marketingmagazine.co.uk/article/1189953/armours-top-marketer-spurs-speaking-nikes-name-wearing-womens-lingerie http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-15017076 Levy is ruthless and so are Spurs in brand development....Players like Bale become brands in their own right for shirt sales around the world etc...Every team must have one or two core players who can lock down the overall appeal of the side for marketing and sponsorship...Who do we have??? Some of their shirt and club sponsorhip deals are huge. Took time but they have really been working on it now for quite a few years....The shirt sponsorhip is 20m iirc...They have seperate cup and league sponsors... Website has 7 blue chip sponsors on the nav page...It's another planet.
  10. I don't think it's a profit at all unless those fees inc agent fees, add ons and loyalty payments. That's your 18m right there.
  11. In the summer the club should be touring Jpn,China,S.Korea or Singapore that's where all the shirts are sold...Or buy up and coming players from one or two of those areas. It's a simple thing. Kagawa is the 3rd biggest shirt sales player on the planet... http://www.soccerbox.com/blog/how-clubs-summer-tours-boost-premier-league-shirt-sales/
  12. Probably taken in by your 'effected' working class posting style.
  13. Yeah they still don't understand that talking shit is just a laugh...
  14. Yeah Oxted is 10km from me mum. That's proper middle class territory...Do I hail from Surrey? Is this a trap Stevie?
  15. Deffo +2 in...That's been clear for a week now.
  16. I think his chidren will be proper middle class. There will always be 'something of the night' about Chez. If I did a cursory list I'd say: Middle Class Pimms drinking shithouses - Chez, Renton, Happy Face, Meenzer, Gemmill, Gloom, Ant, Fish.. Working class steady boys - Monkey, Ne6, Ne5, CT, ewerk, JawD, Stevie, Paddock lad, Hermoine, Jill, Catmag. J69.. You'll often find on here subconsciously on some topics the above take sides accordingly. It's also clear the 2nd group would 'have' the first group.
  17. Yeah broadly agree with that. There is another side. An upwardly mobile working class lad will buy a Tag heur,Rolex or the Bond watch.. Proper middle class will have a Piaget or Tissot and the upwardly mobile middle class chap will have a Brietling..
  18. Football support is interesting casue it's probably true that the nature and background of Arsenal and Spurs support has changed over the years to be more middle class and clubs like Millwall, Palace and Charlton have probably remained the same...I was thinking about this the other day....The colonisation of traditional football support.
  19. Like my mums neighbour in Surrey, I can see he's working class just by the way he walks around the garden.
  20. Class, especially in the UK is nothing to do with money.
