  1. ...and some girls mothers are bigger than other girls mothers"..
  2. Have to agree with that he showed loads of potential when he first arrived. Pocket rocket!
  3. Scottish drinkers could be forgiven for crying into their drams after a single malt from Japan was named the best whisky in the world for the first time. Whisky expert Jim Murray awarded a record-equalling 97.5 marks out of 100 to Suntory’s Yamazaki Single Malt Sherry Cask 2013, hailing it as “near indescribable genius” in his comments in the forthcoming 2015 World Whisky Bible. Murray’s tasting notes described the whisky, from the company’s distillery near Kyoto in western Japan, as possessing “a nose of exquisite boldness” and as “thick, dry, [and] as rounded as a snooker ball”. It is the first time since the guide was first published 12 years ago that the top award has gone to a whisky from Japan. The country’s whiskies were once the butt of jokes but have won a slew of awards and widespread critical acclaim in recent years. To compound the pain felt in the spiritual home of the “water of life”, this is the first time that not a single Scottish whisky made it into the top five in Murray’s respected guide." Never tried a Japanese whisky as they aren't easy to find other than the internet. Tend to go with various versions of Glenmorangie and Talisker. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/nov/04/suntory-time-japanese-whisky-named-worlds-best-in-sour-dram-for-scotland
  4. What is going on with this? Why are idiots paying silly money to be in space for 10 seconds or whatever it is? Seems now that a few of the technical blokes resigned recently with regard to safety and the budget isn't really big enough for what they are trying to do.. Time to reel it back in Ricardo...Yeah that ego of yours.
  5. Wouldn't mind being Norway, not for a moment.
  6. Without underplaying a win against Liv which is never easy to come by, they have been shocking of late and we did play them without their chief mischief maker Sturridge. Sterling has lost a bit of form since the last Eng away days. The Man C away was a massive win mind...There is no question confidence is flowing through the side like crack in those first 10 seconds.
  7. Pards got lucky but Abeid has taken his chance.
  8. Pards has lucked into all this but tbf has taken advantage well.
  9. They just hide it in land and property for a bit don't they? Or start a 'foundation'...

  12. The net figures – which take into account the UK’s rebate – show the UK’s contribution to the EU was £2.7bn in 2008, rising to £3.8bn in 2009, £7.2bn in 2010, £7.5bn in 2011, £8.5bn in 2012 and £11.3bn in 2013. Matthew Elliott, chief executive of the Business for Britain campaign group, said: “Despite David Cameron securing a historic EU budget cut, the cost of the EU to UK taxpayers continues to spiral out of control. We cannot continue to write bigger and bigger cheques to remain a member of an unreformed and uncompetitive European Union. “Business is struggling under mounds of EU red tape and the UK economy is threatened by yet another potential eurozone recession. We must secure a new deal from Brussels and that will only be possible through a referendum.” The prime minister has said he will not pay “anything like” the £1.7bn extra demanded by Brussels because of adjustments to its funding formula. He has, however, left the door open to a compromise where Britain would pay some of it. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/oct/31/britain-eu-contribution-rise-quadruple-cameron

  15. Sounds right up my street. Will take a look.
  16. This woman walked around for 10 hours in NY and got loads of comments...Guardian reckon it's harassment and sexism. Bollocks! Just men being men innit.... "An actor who recorded 10 hours of catcalls and remarks from passersby in New York City has received rape threats in response to a video detailing the harassment, the advocacy group that commissioned the video said on Tuesday. In a two-minute video, actor Shoshana B Roberts was told to smile, told, “Somebody is acknowledging you for being beautiful – you should say thank you,” and comments were made about her clothes and appearance. At one point in the video, which has been viewed nearly 10m times in fewer than 24 hours, a man walked alongside her silently for five minutes. Another followed her, while offering to give her his number."
  17. Getting a bit bored with the Scots now.
  18. Confidence is so much in football. Especially with younger players who just expect things to go their way. Sissoko is really back to his best.
