Strong article and spot on. In many ways that this has happened so early might be a boon in disguise as there is mountains of time to set things straight. Part of that will have to be a strong Jan window where we absolutely must sign some brawn, muscle and determination. Players who are athletic with a bit of pace and aggression or we're just going to be gone by Xmas. We've wasted about 25m on fukin total flowers in Thauvin and that other skinny one. Get Cisse and Sissoko out of this club.

Right now Chancel is the only player I have any confidence in. Thauvin looks short on pace and won't get past many on the wing, might as well play him behind the striker where he will have more options.

There's a lot of new fangled coaching jargon and hip talk around the club. All cutting edge psychology and pep talks and disco fever and the search for the Atlantis of coaching bibles and myth...A lot of myth bubbling under ever training session and there is prep and prop and honing...Mountains of honing...There are little pads with squiggly lines and player arrows and different colours and new drinks made in Switzerland by mountain wizards. Everything will be fine.

The base of a mid table PL side these days is pace and athleticism (WHam for instance)...When you aren't able to put 5/6 Tier one players in the team then it comes down to organization, intensity and pace to break out with (we do actually have some of that in a couple of player Winj and Sissoko). One is learning the league and needs a half a dozen more games and the other has been trying to leave for 2 seasons now. Compare the excellent Payet to Thauvin - one is the finished article and the other is a stringy kid still learning the game and if his confidence doesn't get shattered he might produce in a few months...Again lacks a bit of pace and isn't particularly athletic and doesn't have that burst say Hatem had. The striker issue is my highest concern we have one madman and a joker.
