Exactly, Robinson's cat-like reactions weren't quite good enough. I really didn't think Butt would score from that angle, but fatty alleyed my fears. -
you better step the fuck off honky fore I bitchslap your white ass into the middle of next week fo'shizzle mofo Don't fucking call me Chimpbonda...Your mates in trouble for that already!!

"too lightweight for the Premiership tbh" How many people said that? He's a reet beast. Get a propper striker alongside him, and we'll be immense (attacking wise) Give most sprinters a run for their money with those thighs. Just want to add it's nice to be able to say positive things about a big money buy for a change.

I think he will make it.

"Tippy-tappy football"...

Very pleasing result and justice done. Impressed by Hunty today. Knew he had to take Lennon down when he did.
-
Keane is fucking bound to score.
-
Come on!!!!!!!
-
Why does Martins moan so much for ffs!! Get on with it.
-
It IS a straight red. Bennett has bottled it. Utter shambles the officiating out there.
-
Not sure how Chimbonda is not sent off there tbh. Slapped Butt in front of the linesman/4th official. Ooh-er. Chimbonda has to get RED. The law is clear you can't make contact like that above the shoulder. The linesman was trying to tell the ref as well!!! Defoe goal offside.

He isn't. But Alonso is no Xavi either.
-
We'll have a nightmare and Martins deffo won't score.

I stand by what I said about Rossi. If we could tie Rossi to us for long term at £10 million then we should. Gerard Pique, Johny Evan and Paul McShane are not marginally better than Edgar/Ramage/Hutington. They are significantly better despite slightly younger. And they have much better promise and potential too. Pique starred was man of the tournemant for Spain in under 21 European Championship. Evan has had a couple caps for Northern Ireland and had done excellently. McShane, despite not as refined as Pique or Evan, has leadership and thou-shall-not-pass qualities which are not present in Edgar or Hutington. I don't presume all the youngsters I have suggested would do well for us. For instance I suggested Slyvain Ebank Blake. He is not even getting games in Plymouth at the moments. They will be miss and hits. But if we could get these people cheaply, the benefit we would reap from the likes of McShane would far outweight the insignificant money we spend in acquiring other false prophets. I don't think we have any realitic chance in acquiring the creams like Evan, Rossi and Pique unless we pay a huge sum (£10 million). But for other promising youngster (McShane, Jones etc) who left Man U because they wanted more games, we should at least try to get a couple. At the very least they will increase our squad depth which is thread bare, and they will provide stiff competition to our own youngsters to spur their growth. At best they flourish into good players who would bring us returns in both results and finance. Good post Delima. But we should also look at youngsters from top Euro sides who are also getting impatient and have a policy of getting at least 1/2 in a year.

Agree strongly. We are only treading water with him in charge. -

Why didn't you say that before muppet. -
Sadly I don't know much about them. Wenger has been the most astute in the transfer market in the PL by a mile in the last few seasons. Part of what he does is scoure Euro and the former French colonies for fresh talent. His contact base in this aspect is very good and I suspect he gets tipped off about French players pretty sharpish. He tends to get 2 or 3 players in every season and they are futher scrutinised...One or two of these seem to pay off every year. If you look at say Clichy imo Cole is only a fraction better than him in real terms. Our insular approach and not having any foreign input in the coaching set up is a real shame as coaches who have worked in Euro bring with them a knowledge base which can be invaluable for developing new talent.

Well tbh he isn't going to drop Henry and Van Persie is he? Two of the best players if not THE best from their respective nations. He has played around 25 league games for Arsenal since the 01-02 season, he played 7 for West Ham and apparently none for Celtic. Doesn't seem like many want to give him a chance, im sure Arsenals first choice 2 havent played every single game since 2001. Conveniently forgetting Reyes, Bergkamp, Adebayor. Still not getting into the team and is not likely ever to in reality. Hardly a crime Arsenal being a top 8 Euro side and often only playing one striker who just happens to be the best in the world. -
Yes these two are looking good. We should perhaps also take a look at the PSV and Ajax youngsters.
-
Although the head says no. I am strangely drawn to the buck tooth party machine. Won't happen though the wages are astronomical.
