And how'd you figure that one out? Using the same method as the 5p per coffee? My cousin imports them from Korea and Hong Kong. Got tired of being a postie.

Make it 10p then.

The cold lazy truths behind capitalism....The people just don't wanna hear it.

And how'd you figure that one out? Using the same method as the 5p per coffee? Whatever. I haven't got time to argue it. How in gods name do you think cafe manage to pay london rents?

5p to make a capuccino they say. inc wages, rent and bills etc.. That can't be right. Per coffee yes it's right. I paid €2.80 here for some kind of cooler drink which in effect was just crushed ice water and flavouring. Costa. Cost 2p to make. Even if not spot on, it's probably not a million miles off the truth. How much is a starbuck franchise then? I want to open one on Renton's route to work and fleece the flabby fucker dry. Visibly upset by my hair comment. And Gemmill's correct, commonsense tells you it costs more tha 5p to make a cappucino - staff costs including taxes, cup, coffee, milk, machine, electricity, rent, business taxes, protection money, etc. I know it grates doesn't it. But it's true. Your mobile cost about 70p to make. Your averge pc made in china etc cost about £70 to make. Go figure.

He goes into work about midday and leaves at 4pm. I wasn't taking the piss. And the business model just got even more attractive. If you fancy it look into it he has to work hard one or two days a week ie Saturday he's there from 7am to 10pm, but the rest of it looks very relaxed to me.

I thought your ex was a barrister, not a barrista? boom boom! Pasta machine free for the first year before contract as long as he signs to buy one in year 2. Staff €8 euro per hour. The shopping complex it's attached to pay half his rent. The Hamburg Stadt give him a grant for employing people....etc...

I think a 'Mug 'O' Tea' franchise would work.

I imagine food in the future will be a bit chemically.

Lovely read that.

Highlights are very 'look at me' though aren't they?

This one has my vote, not only because of the lack of homness in the ingredients used and the fact that unlike some other suggestions they're likely to be found in any reasonably sized supermarket but the fact that it also doesn't take an hour to make one fucking sandwich. As the only independent voice in here PP is win. Ingredients straight off the side of the M&S roastbeef sarnie packet iirc.
-
Does it have to be M&S beetroot like? Otherwise the whole tone of the snack is dragged down? Yes! Have you had marksy's beetroot? it's the business Aye. Can't say I thought it was any better than the gypo stuff. I like the gypo stuff though. can't believe you're even daring to read a foodstuff related thread. You're a veggie and therefore have given up the right to discuss culinary matters. If Gordon Ramsay agrees with me... well then it just becomes de facto truth The great man sorts out some mushrooms..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5pRTggDCtc

The mushrooms are cooked? Sounds a bit better now but a right faff. The counterstrike is well under way on the road to the sandwich of dreams.

Veggies staple in sarnies is cheese pmt.* *pretty much true.

...another one of my faves...Well done Chez. Knock one up when you're over eh.
