  1. Rozenzal and Cacapa for me with Taylor as first back up....But with Faye soon to be available, there will soon be more to this than meets the eye although he is primarily a def midfielder he can cover CD as well iirc. I think Taylor without proper competition has been getting a bit carried away and this is a chance for him to take stock and also learn hopefully from the more senior pairing. Roze for me has become undroppable.
  2. In this case all this seems to have come very late. Ordinarily the family and close friends are the prime suspects from day one.

    I've heard it's selective tho.
  4. 3 sachets in the coffee shop hell yes...I don't even flinch.. ...the sugar pouring device can be a bit misleading, there is a lot less coming out than it appears..
  5. I hadnt realised that, a quick google search brought up this classic.... "An avid follower of "Boro" - the Middlesbrough football team - Mr Shayler wondered if MI5 had fixed the side's entry to the 1997 Coco-Cola Cup Final in a bid to stage his arrest. He resisted the urge to attend." So.... all we need is for Wacky to join MI5 then bung their secrets out and flee the country and the good times will roll again.
  6. Mrs Parky has honey in everything the witch.
  7. Surely the path to ruin?
  8. Where is this from? Your mates mam told us. Gosh you've got a good memory.
  9. I'm beginning to feel the urge to have 3 spoons in my tea instead of the usual two....The two are quite heaped now, why not just be honest and have 3 ? Is there something wrong with having three? Why does my inner voice warn against the three?

He should have gone to Real or somewhere this summer. They've started well but don't really have the kind of squad to handle 3 competitions anymore.
  11. It might be fun him marshalling the def in French.
  12. Viduka has imo done nothing to warrant a place ahead of Oba. He really does need a rest, he's been playing footie all summer plus he's fat.
  13. Tbf to him whistleblowing is a very brave thing to do in this day and age. All that pressure must have taken its toll.
  14. Well if a whistleblower who knows secrets and might be a danger to the Crown starts saying he's the Messiah...It's job done basically. He is neutralised as a source of danger by implication of 'nutterdom'. He clearly wants to get his life back and this is the easiest way for the two parties to get together and cook up something that makes his recent 'revelations'a and threatened leaks redundant...Of course nullifying any future threat he might present as well. That was my first thought when I saw this especially as he hits all the tigger phrases 'crop circles', 2012 etc...Good energy... I like you am always mystifyied why they have to overdo it like this surely a recantation of all that has gone before is enough. He's not mad. The only other thing that crosse my mind is that he could be looking for some kind of media career ala David Icke who did go through a spell of making a lot of cash in all his madness.
  15. Where is this from? http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30100-1282984,00.html Mi5 are good. Best bit of discrediting a whistle blower caper I've seen in a long while.

It's as insidous as fuck. How much info can we get out of people and pass over to various profiling houses (for selling stuff and branding) without paying a penny. Rant hoover.

One of my friends must have put me on there and yes there is a pic. Incredibly bad news...Will have to get that taken off.
  18. Always up for a cup of afternoon cha! When one is dealing with the world of imponderables one might want to reflect on who's singning for the 'moolah'...Yes? Also when one finds kind ears for ideas that are close to heart it is perhaps not so important to ponder where such ventures come to rest.
  19. That is kinda where I am on him as well. I understand your point (although I would say commanding his box is more of a problem than distribution) but I still struggle to think of more than a couple of keepers who are better than him in the world right now (Cassilas is much more prone to error than him and I don't particularly rate Riena although he's definitely solid) and as such I would have to say he's world class. He's not as good as some players from the past like Banks, Lashin (spellings probably miles off), Shilton, Southall or Schmeicel (spelling again) but they aren't playing any more. Anyway the point is he is the best player we have with a consistency to match his skill that hasn't been found in a Newcastle player since Shearer was in his prime or Bobby Lee and as such it's best for the team that he play. Also clearly being guaranteed his game hasn't harmed him in the past so there's no reason to think it will make him rest on his laurels now. What SA needs to do is make sure he drops players who aren't performing rather than worrying about ones who 99% of the time will. Yashin Christ remember how fat Southall used to be? Great keeper.
  20. He has weaknesses in his game, but he has won me over particularly because he scores different kinds of goals and almost from anywhere.
  21. He's not all that, he spreads play reasonable, he takes up good def postitons and he monitors play well enough to time his interventions. Faye might even be an upgrade on him. Making him captain was mental. Should have been Owen or Given.
  22. There are some simple rules in football one of which is the top goalscorer if fit starts every game.
