Larry?
-
He needs a year at least imo. Let the torture continue.
-
True. He needs time for sure. But how much time?
-
Yeah, I'd go along with (I hope so anyway) I just think we're poor at the minute and have been pretty much all season. I'm all for giving the new manager a lot more time yet though. I'm holding fire till after the Jan window.

He's made tactical blunders beyond my comprehension.

One of the reasons I'm holding back blaming him for everything. IMO there are probably only 2/3 things he needs to do inc purchases that will make a world of differance.

Mr. Sparkle?

The problems are deeper than simply 'players out of postion' etc.. The overall squad lacks sparkle and lest we forget some of the key players are on the downslope of their careers whether it be age or injury..Cacapa, Geremi, Owen, Viduka, Butt, Duff, Emre etc.. The next rung of players are by PL standards still learning Taylor, Beye, Zoggy, Enrique, Milner, Roze etc.. We have very few players who are the right age and the right amount of experience/talent/overall fitness for what is a very unforgiving league. I would say Barton, Feye, Martins are the only ones who are about the right age/fitness/experinece for the PL. The most effective one of those three doesn't even start. In all reality the squad is an average PL squad and I'm sure if I fed data into a computer it would say we will finish between 8th-12th. Allardyce is under no illusions about this, but he has made mistakes and in the summer he really should have got in at least one pacey/creative player for the right to replace the Solano/Dyer axis. I also believe he should have got another ACM with creative components. After all when you fight you take as much ammo as you can you don't say well if I run out I'll get some later.

Tarkovsky. (sp)

There could be an almight run of nightmare results.

I've said it before. He needs to leave Liverpool to go to the next level.

55 passes last night almost double all the others.

I guess that mythical (and still needed) quality creative/attacking midfielder is the difference between a "hoof" and a game changing "long pass". We're on the verge of becoming a goodish-hard-to-beat side. The def frailities have been pretty much addressed and I am beginning to fancy us against most sides in the PL home or away. Workmanlike football can sometimes get results especially if the opposition is miles better ie 'the big four', and a big dose or organisation can chip away at the percentages of things going wrong being cut to a minimum. SA is building the base of the side pretty much around the Bolton mould but with the advantage of having some better players and with the oppurtunity to get more 'quality players' into the club at some point. For me successful sides like Chelsea and Liverpool have gone more defensive and 'mix it up' a lot more with long passes etc than people notice especially as winning is the key motivation for the respective managers (but in Mourinho's case just winning wasn't enough)....It will be the same with us, at some point just winning more games won't be enough and people will want more football.

Elano sounds and (on the occassions I've seen him play) looks like he'll take the premier league like a duck to water. I've been impressed with his vision and awareness, but also his willingness to work hard. They've got themselves a real gem there. fucking hate them Yeah but we've got a fridge that freezes players bodies after training or summat.

Does a lot with his eyes.

He's not in my fuking league man. No, he just relegated you. Seriously get your hearing aid checked.
