  1. Andy in my experience is an utter tosser.
  2. IF IT IS 'ARRY' I think we are now moving into the realms of the surreal. Please this is HARRY REDKNAPP we're talking about here, is it all that it's taken is that some fit black men turned up and caned us at SJP? Really? Did Mashley turn to each other glint in eye and no words need exchanging? Did they have a pint with Kemsley a week later and discuss hosrse racing and become overjoyed 'Arry was in that game? I'll tell you know the next few months will be like when you can't get to sleep cause of the acid. It's too far gone to understand but just register a numb feeling.
  3. What's happened to your we can't attract anybody/thing decent to this club nonsense?
  4. Not sure Wenger is into players who get knackered after 10 min.
  5. No pace either. Crocked clogger. Nice.
  6. Quite good in posession and good distribution. Thats not what the Arsenal fans think (on message boards anyway). They moan about his distribution a bit anyway. Spoilt? One missed place once probably!

  8. Quite good in posession and good distribution. Billions and billions and millions and squillions times better than Buttplug.
  9. Good managers are good managers, bad managers are bad managers, time has nowt to do with it. This is just a myth perpetuated in whispering circles by muppets.
  10. Managers is one thing but our closest rivals have started outspending us over the last 2/3 years. This is primarily what has 'closed the gap'. Man City, Villa, Spurs, Pompey, West Ham. Without getting quality in the door all combinations of manager/chairman/back room gizmos are doomed.
  11. No idea Every paper seemed to think it was a done deal at the time. He was talked up as quite a prospect and then silence.
  12. Did we sign Baheng in the end?
  13. tbh, I dont know why we bother knowing each year at some point we'll get knocked out... Back to yer blog eh?
  14. I've looked at the squad that was available at the start of the season, ...... I've looked at the players that Allardyce inherited, ................ I've also looked at the players Allardyce added to the squad, ....... and for the life of me I can't see how in the world of football we have had such abysmal results against teams at the bottom end of the table. And for "as bad as it is at the moment" it is indeed BAD, and I believe that rests entirely upon the head of Allardyce who doesn't appear to have a clue in getting the best out of his players, doesn't have a clue about where they are better suited, and doesn't have a clue in making the right selections or making the right substitutions at the right time. I didn't want him in the first place and I don't want him now. He's had plenty of time to sort things out regardless of what some people say. I think he's an arrogant egoist who incessantly chews like a cow. Do you detect some anger in me? well so you should. Whatever you may think about him, rightly or wrongly, the idea he's had plenty of time to sort things out is ridiculous. Not ridiculous at all Alex, case in point. From the day we lost away to Derby Allardyce had plenty of time to sort things out before they came to our patch and insure that we would get a win. Well he didn't and we didn't, and as Derby will probably go down he won't need time to correct that colossal boo-boo will he cos they won't be around next season. There is too much emphasis on giving him time, it is quite conceivable and realistic to expect to see a marked improvement from the get-go when you look at what players he had available from the beginning. There appeared to be an improvement at first and hopes were raised but then it went downhill fast and Allardyce seemed to be short on brake-fluid. Don't know how many points Derby have but I know they got 4 from us, 3 more than they got from anyone else. I agree with a lot of what you say and (as I should probably have said) I agree with a lot of your previous post. He hasn't had plenty time to sort out the problems at the club though. We came 13th last season didn't we? Clearly the club wasn't exactly in a great state. Seriously, anyone would need time, much more than half a season, even though other managers may have made some more rapid improvements on the pitch. I would say at least to the end of the season before we can honestly say we know what he's capable of. Personally I think Faye, Beye and Enrique have been good purchases.
  15. Spurs spent £120m then sacked Jol which is a bit pointless. I've feeling we are going to fiddle by till the summer and see if there's any sign of progress. If not, Allardyce will probably get sacked and money will be made available to a manager of Ashley's liking. Cause the players turned shit overnight?
  16. Getting quality players in the door is always good.
  17. Mort has said he wants to get money in first.
  18. That was more a spuds pisstake.
  19. He'll take a couple of big tackles and soon after lose interest.
  20. What are you defending Sam for then? Because he'll bring Intertoto cup glory. Nah, perhaps the top 6 one would be a realistic aim. That's all this season is about for Sam, lowering expectations. It's HP's default template. See Roeder. I was spot on though wasn't I Mr "Big Sam is just the sort of organised man we need" I know. What happenned?
