  1. Huntellaar will head to Spain imo.
  2. Looking to get a new laptop soonish. Should I go for XP as some places still offer it as an alternative? Is Vista going to mess with my downloads? Streaming? Also I have XP on disk somewhere is it madness to reformat the hard drive and wipe Vista and install XP again? Help appreciated.
  3. From Skysports. Hardly a fucking headache is it?
  4. You've managed to pick 3 shit players in one go.
  5. Of Arsenal's back five only Adams is a decent bloke. Seaman - doesn't even send his kids christmas presents Dixon - cunt Winterburn - boring brummie cunt, talks sghite get off the telly you bell end Keown - ugly cunt, dirty, dirty bastard as a player, and cunt (i.e Ruud incident) Adams - good lad Overly fair imo.
  6. Ventere who the fuck is he?!
  7. Don't think he'd hack it in the PL. Likes time on da ball innit. He passes and moves Parky. Oh I'd have him alright, but every fucker and his dog would be on his back if he wasn't an instant hit. You know this.
  8. Anelka? As a desperate January stop gap for a club as wealthy as Chelski? Maybe. For most anyone else? Nope. 39 in 89 at a struggling Man City 23 in 58 at Bolton Both average sides. And nearly the magic 1 in 2. One of the best strikers in the world? Easily.
  9. In all honesty who can blame him. Me. I like him and rate him but he's just another player who's done fuck all and thinks he should be playing for Man Utd or somebody. Aye, another Le Sulk to be honest. Loads of potential, but potential isn't the same thing as actually being an amazing player. Are you one of those that railed against our on/off interest in Anelka?
  10. Good post. IMO we should have gone the extra mile to sign both these players Don't suppose it will change some "opinions" that the clubs current transfer policy of bringing in 17 year old kids and hoping to gain success on the cheap is the way to go instead. Mind boggling. Still, Alex Ferguson has spent a lot of money, as have the other trophy winning clubs, but I'm sure those who agree that buying cheap shite is the way forward What does this post even mean? You're like an alcoholic bum arguing with an invisible foe. B) Your username betrays your lack of judgement and intelligence, if you think that THAT tosser justified his fee and being brought to the club. Keegan only made a few mistakes, but he was one of the biggest. So, there's only one idiot here, but as with other people, I don't expect you to understand the point. Its fairly simple really. Are you happy with last summers transfers and running the club as a "business". If you are, stop fuckin moaning about the league position, which may get worse. I can't believe what I've put in bold. Tino definitely wasn't always brilliant in the league but he did contribute. In Europe he was nothing short of sensational, not just once or twice, nearly every game. One of the biggest MYTHS about NUFC which is often mentioned is "Tino and Batty lost us the league" * Batty was our best player from when he joined to the end of the season * The rot had set in before they came, dropping points against relegated Man City, and humiliated by a piss poor West Ham * Tino was one of the best players on the pitch at Anfield * He scored a fantastic goal in the game against West Ham at home * He wasn't to blame for our pressing the self destruct button with THREE minutes to go at Blackburn * He was superb at Anfield * He didn't play in the game at Highbury * He came off the bench to set up Ferdinand's winner at home to Spurs, and our equaliser at Boro Those are facts, yet how many people do you hear say "Fuckin Tino cost us the league". I've admitted over his 22 months at the toon his league form could be patchy, but he cost 7m and we sold him for 6.5m, so we didn't lose anything, and he gave me the best night of my toon supporting life against Barcelona, and was utterly world class in other games like against Metz. If you remember as well, when SLF fucked off and Shearer got injured, Tino started the season up front on his own and looked like he was relishing it with a magnificent performance and brace against Sheff Wed. All in all, Tino was up there with the most skillful players the Premiership has ever seen, he was an utter joy to watch at times, and I'm honoured to say we had him for a little while. Lovely read.
  11. Mohamed Aboutreika. ".....and one creative type in Mohamed Aboutreika (Egypt and El-Ahly) to unpick defensive locks. Like fellow Egyptian Essam El-Hadary, Aboutreika has spent most of his career at El-Ahly, but this Africa XI needs a creative midfielder, so “the Egyptian Zidane” gets the nod." Again wouldn't be massive money. Nominated for African footballer of the year 2006 "Aboutreika, who is Egypt's newest idol according to the FIFA.com expression[1], was nominated to win the 2006 CAF African Footballer of the Year award. Mohamed Aboutreika had been nominated for the Award along with Chelsea striker Didier Drogba and Barcelona forward Samuel Eto'o."
  12. Is Edgar out on loan? He deserves a few games at left back did alright last year iirc. He is a centre back though. Been on the bench recently. Was Enrique injured on Sun by the way? Aye, injured still (or not fit anyway). As for Edgar, he's a right-footed CB who scored a goal against Man Utd once. Very difficult to say what he's like as that's the only time I've seen him play I think. Ah. Ok.
  13. This boy would be a sneaky capture. Ivan Rakitic http://www.uefa.com/competitions/ucl/playe...7744/index.html

  15. Don't think he'd hack it in the PL. Likes time on da ball innit.
  16. Ideally one of our first bids. Not sure he'd come now he's getting games mind.
  17. You don't have to go mad with it. I for instance spotted one of my old favourites Lareya Kingston the other night at the ACON. Lovely little player can do DM and RM. Cheap as chips from Hearts. http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/socc...p-up.php?ID=194
  18. Who do you think we should be targetting in the summer and reasons for such 'flagrant' spending? Dreams win prizes.
  19. At a push I agree in the sense that if he did have a run in the middle we would know once and for all if he can do it there.
  20. In all honesty who can blame him. Me. I like him and rate him but he's just another player who's done fuck all and thinks he should be playing for Man Utd or somebody. I'm sure Wenger would love him on the left. Don't think he's good enough. Yet. Just about any reasonable bid would have seen him leave. There's no way we'd hang onto him if Wenger was interested but I don't think he is. Perhaps fill Spuds historical 'problem position'?
  21. The only problem being that Geremi will actually need 'to sit' (on a chair), with his 40 yr old legs (Mourinho). I just think if you stuck him there it would suit him and he'd link midfield and defence better than Butt who looks pretty shit atm. Plus, we've tried just about everything else. Barton looks a bit more like his old self too, especially when he moved to the centre. It's not ideal, but we're short of options in there. I watched the second half of Cameroon's game last night and while he didn't have a lot to do at rightback, with Tunisia mainly attacking down the other flank, he looked good in posession, rarely giving the ball away and knocking in some good balls. His legs never got him overlapping the winger which might support the his legs are fucked argument, but I agree he could be the best bet for sitting role as long as we manage to get someone running off him. Barton hasn't done this as much as I expected so far but he's had a very stop start time of it (to say the least) so maybe he might improve given a run. I would like to see Emre get a run though but he has to push on a lot more if that's what we're going to do. He lacks the main requirement for the modern DM ie legs. I swear to god even on my 20 a day habit I'd run this cunt into the ground.
